Rosh Hashanah not over yet folks! For those watching Feast of Trumpets, it has begun in Israel. But remember they are starting because they say it is Tishrei 1. But Tishrei 1 begins when the new moon sliver is seen, not when there is no moon just because the world calls that "new." Could it be today? Yes. Could it be tomorrow? Yes. Could it be when the new moon sliver actually shows up on the 4th? Also yes. And literally anytime after that too! But we are CLOSE! Stay Awake! And "maybe" a clue here(?) Praying for you, but I must say you should be thankful you have a car for shelter. My brother had to leave the shelter and I could not take him in thank God it was summer, but he found shelter from the rain on the porch of a lawyers office, they found him there one morning. @mzritamarie4357, I wonder if you might be having sciatic pain. I know how awful that pain can be, and will pray for you. But a simple thing has helped me greatly. I roll up a bath towel very firmly and lay on it. Place it very low under back or hip area as needed, and press into it till you feel the main source of the pain. Then just lay on the towel for a few minutes or longer several times a day as needed. For me, the pain is so much less, even after the first time. If the towel is not firm enough you can buy a foam roller in varying amounts of firmness. At times I have had sciatica pain so bad, I could barely move to turn in bed, or concentrate on anything but the pain. But with the towel under my lower back, I could turn easily my with no pain at all.

I feel the imminent vibes in the air. We as Christians have a sense of this lull looming over and then sudden event will drop on us. This is exactly what we are sensing. I was just reading Proverbs 10:5 this morning. This basically says Jesus warning his disciples to stay awake and watching. Because harvest time will come very quickly. I am not disagreeing. This is just another idea. Elam is the southwestern portion if Iran on the gulf which includes Iran's nuclear site. Elam is totally destroyed in Jeremiah 49. This would cripple Iran for quite a while, but leave them to later join with Russia, Turkey and a few others for Ezekiel 38. Also, I was always taught that Jesus is the stone that destroys the statue in Daniel. I took it that was Jesus second coming when he destroys the governments of the world. Just food for thought. At an hour you think not. I don’t think that God wants us to be able to figure out when the rapture will happen. If it was discoverable I don’t think Jesus would have said only the Father knows. So everyday we are to look up and be expecting but not consumed with it. Also we are to study the whole Word of God not just the coming of the rapture.

I don't think I'll be much help here as I don't believe the rapture has to happen on any day in particular, so I haven't really been paying that much attention to the feast times or days.

@@newnews3361I don’t know for certain if feast of trumpets is the timing of the rapture or not. However, with that said, the similarities in typology between the description of what we understand of the rapture and the feast of trumpets is pretty hard to ignore. I see feast days, or more appropriately, appointed times, as dress rehearsals, meant to commemorate events that the Lord would have us either remember, expect, or both. This is just me speculating, but I think these ceremonies coincide with real life events to serve as reminders to future generations of the reliability and grace of our redeeming Lord, for what has been done, and what to expect.

@@davidvaninwagen9391 I understand, just a little something I wrote awhile back to help explain my understanding. There are those that follow the stars, some that follow the feast days and appointed times of the Jews, according to laws and practices, some that follow numbers, meaning doing the math as to how many days counting down to 6K or 7k years. I follow scripture, pure and simple. When Jesus was asked by His disciples when will He return, (signs) He answered. What He said is what I follow. Matthew 24 I also believe the rapture is imminent, meaning it could happen at any time, so it's possible it could happen on any one of the other days or any other day, that's logical. It's just I can't find anywhere in scripture that leads me to, numbers, feast days or stars as to knowing when the day of the Lord or the rapture will happen. In fact, I can’t find anywhere in scripture that tells me the day or the time. I hoping you understand that I'm just sticking with scripture.

@@newnews3361 I wouldn’t even suggest to disagree with you. As believers we all can see the season is upon us, and the only way our eyes are opened to that is through scripture. I’ve been watching you and several other watchmen for some time now. Even though, there are some slight variations on interpretation here or there, the core matter is pretty clear; our time to be with the Lord is nearly at hand. Personally, I’d like to thank you for sharing knowledge on the scriptures in this late hour. It’s been an encouragement to me and helped me keep my eyes focused on the Lord.

Actually Ross feast of trumpets is not over but hasn't started yet. The new moon will not be spotted until tomorrow which by default starts the Actual feast of trumpets. Some jews celebrated without spotting the new moon so technically its not started.
