So when you make certain moves, are you always holding the command or ctrl key? I have difficulty extending time either way...do I have to hold my ctrl key (PC). It would be helpful if you had an overhead camera to show what keys you are clicking - I can hear you executing a keyboard key, but do not know which one you are using. Thanks

If you’re having the difficulties you describe, chances are that you have activated the time grid. You can disable it in the menu, or temporarily hold the Option/ALT key to move notes without any snap. Does this help?

I love these videos but I still wish we had a more seamless way to do this in non-ARA DAWs :(

You might want to consider not using Pro Tools

Hi, i have question is it possible to make Negative Harmony with Melodyne, and how ?
@celemony3 жыл бұрын
There’s no dedicated function for this in Melodyne.

If you could figure out what your negative harmony is meant to be then you can do it with melodyne by adjusting the pitch to fit the new harmony.

Can I do the same in Melodyne Assistant? Or M. Editor only?
@celemony3 жыл бұрын
Basically, you can do the same techniques in Melodyne assistant. However, when it comes to polyphonic audio, e.g. guitar chords, then you’d need Melodyne editor or Melodyne studio.

Melodyne needs to make the interface clear….I bought it years ago but never use it because I can’t see the grid etc….I asked them years ago to please put in an option to make the interface legible--not fun….

There are a few different contrast options in the Melodyne preferences. Have you tried them already?
