I took Chrissy to the Grocery Store in Newport Beach where she found nothing we could afford, so we headed inland to a Filipino Store and she bought some familiar items.

Cheaper homes better weather. Tim's parents are walking distance to the beach. I think they own a 2 to 4 million a house. A safe hotel to sleep in without addicts begins at $125 a night. I think $5,000 per month without airfare per person. to tour at their speed

The cashier was being polite towards you Tim. Most Filipina workers here would think it is rude to speak tagalog to another Filipina if her husband only speak English. ESpecially in a workplace setting. Anyway welcome to California Crissy. I live near Newport, we are almost a neighbor. I’m a Harold Baldar fan, I watched you and Cris story since before you became a vlogger. All your adventures with Harold in the Philippines. That’s how I subscribed to your channel when you started it but I seldom make a comment on your vlogs.

So fun to watch Chrissy experiencing California... and fun to see/hear you, watching her. As you know, I was raised in California (Ventura), but conditions forced me out almost 10 years ago. I can see it hasn't gotten any cheaper since then, either. Yikes!

You know Im a South OC boy also.....you took her to one of the highest priced stores and anything in Newport Beach is going to be even higher. Take her to a Costco so the channel can see that we do have decent prices in the OC. I was born in Newport and then moved up to Orange. I tried moving back after high school but couldn't afford it while going to college plus all the girls were snobs. And I notice at the 8:40 mark as you walk out, there is a typical BMW parking job, cant even get it in the stall and doesn't give a shit if they don't.

When people talk about danger in America, I don’t think they were referring to Newport Beach. There are several areas within a short drive that I am fairly certain that you wouldn’t let Chrissy walk alone, and some that you wouldn’t allow her to walk through in the evening even if you were with her. I wish that I had stayed in the military until retirement, but I didn’t have the long range vision to know that I would want to live outside the country. Now I’m investing, and waiting (praying) for the recovery so I can attempt retirement on my savings in either the PI or Thailand. IDK, i’d like to check it out anyway.

Today, all the nieces and nephews are emotionally stronger and mature. Nothing like what the US is pumping out. The last six years. A couple with good domestic jobs with paid for high rise condos, a few working abroad for high paying careers in the UK, US, OZ and Sweden.
