Hello, it sounds great!!! I also have an MS 10 and a beatstep pro but I don't know how to hook up those damn cables. Could you tell me what you connected the beatstep (Pitch / Velo / Gate) to on the Ms10, it could save me a lot of life points :)))) Good day

Sure no prob. From the Sequencer 1 outs on the back of the BSP... 1) Connect 'Pitch' on the BSP to 'Freq' on the MS10. 2) Connect 'Gate' on the BSP to 'Trigger In' on the MS10 3) Connect 'Velo' on the BSP to 'Cutoff Freq' on the MS10. After that, 1) On the MS10, in the Frequency Modulation section, turn the EG/EXT knob to about 9 (you'll need to fiddle with this, it's v sensitive). This gives the BSP control over pitch. 2) On the MS10, in the Cutoff Frequency Modulation section, turn the EG/EXT knob all the way round clockwise. Then turn the main Cutoff Frequency down. This gives the BSP velocity control over filter. 3) On the MS10 set the Oscillator dial (top left) to 32' Finally, In the Arturia MIDI Software Centre - go to Settings and scroll down to CV/Gate Mode 1) In Seq 1 Pitch - Make sure V/Oct is selected. 2) Set Seq 1 0V MIDI note to C0 3) Set Seq 1 Gate to S-Trig This should get you up and running. Also play the lowest C note on the MS10, that means it will be transposed right.

Very nice sounds! Question: How did you connected the BSP to the synths? I just bought one but cant seem to make the BSP control my synths via MIDI. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Nicolás - thanks for your interest. I connected both synths via CV (no MIDI) and the drums are triggered via MIDI as they are a software instruments on my computer. If you're having trouble with getting MIDI working, check your channels are set right on the BSP, and maybe open up the Arutria MIDI control centre app and see what's going on there. There are a few settings you may be able to twiddle. Good luck :)
