You are just so real ! Not full of yourself and a lovely musician . Guys like you are getting harder and harder to appear in the music world. I feel lucky to be here on earth same time as you. ⭐ All your songs are so close to heart .

met him on the beach in Malibu in early 70's and he was so appreciative of how his life was going. so was I but also was jealous and just learning guitar and not good enough to jam with the stars. . .yet. . .he's gentle, sensitive, fortunate and thankful. good qualities

T. B. S. wowed an adoring crowd at Portland's Aladdin Theater last night (12/7/09). What an incredibly talented backing band he's brought with him on this tour! Musically it was every bit as strong as any of his Eagles concerts, and much of the credit goes to the new songs he played from his "Expando" album. The only discouraging aspect of seeing him live is realizing how much better he is aging than are his longtime fans. He and Paul McCartney are physical marvels in that respect.

"Rose of Cimarron" is an overlooked gem; the Eagles should cover it in concert.

He was in a band "New Breed" in the sixties. I was a young kid and when I saw him playing the bassline to Bobby Hebb's "Sunny", I decided then and there that I wanted to play bass. Too bad I can't sing. And worse, I can't sing and play the bass at the same time. Don't know how bassists do it and Tim does it the best. Great musician.

Don't feel bad, it's hard to play bass and sing. You're being pulled in 2 directions. It's really important to sync up the bass playing with the drummer AND you're also trying to sing creatively. I think, IMHO, the only harder thing is to be a drummer and a singer.

My post below is in response to ACutieFan1's post about how none of the Eagles are good enough to keep the public's attention performing individually. That's the funniest thing I've heard lately. Give some Henley, Frey and Walsh solo albums a try...
