This seems like it will be an important addition to almost any Myofunctional Therapy Regimen.

We implement these techniques and more at our Myofunctional therapy program because it is critical. Couldn't imagine favorable outcomes without it as well as the understanding of it.

Hi, I'm wondering where to get some hands-on training with FNFT in Ontario, Canada? Do you know anyone in that area of the world offering this? If not, I might have to make the trek to the USA to get trained. :) Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. xx

This "massage" on the face shown in the video interests me very much, does it have a an actual name to refer it to please? I think I need this. Would any Myofunctional therapist do this or this is a very rare "treatment"?

What do you think of rolfing? Seems a little new agey but whether the exact way it works is accurate or not it seems helpful for calming the mind and reducing pain.

Receiving the 10 series of Rolfing by a dedicated and gifted rolfer 15 years ago was the single most transformative and life changing physiological “upgrade” I’ve ever experienced.

@Estherderu has a big point here, I want to order a video on fascia in the tongue :)

@@youspilledthis The only video I know of showing the tongue clearly is one of Tom Mijers deep front line videos... no tongue tie to be seen there... I have all of Guimberteaus's videos and book & The Anatomy Train videos... non of them show a tongue tie either.. that is why I was this interested... but sadly.. .no reaction from Timothy yet

@@estherderu there's a woman running a youtube channel called MobilityMastery, she shows a technique where she's palpating the tongue looking for adhesions and works them out. Feels pretty good, I've started palpating thumb and pointing fingers on the frenulum as well as where it meets the tongue. Hopefully I can gain some range of motion through this.

@@youspilledthis thanks Nommy, I am aware of what it is and that is why I was interested in the idea of the interaction..... am not so sure about the person behind mobilitymastery.. .nowhere can I find what medical background this lady has. Am a physiotherapist, orthopaedic manual therapist so I am a little critical :)

@@estherderu yeah it's a western woo woo essense around her, so I understand hesitation. However releasing fascia seems reasonable and seeing examples of how others practice can help others keep it functional instead of theoretic.

I am in my 30s, I have teeth crowding and need one side of wisdom teeth removal. Should I get the tongue tie surgery before or after the wisdom removal and invaslign or does it not matter?

Consider seeing an orthodontist that specializes in MSE or MARPE for a second opinion before you make any decisions.

Maybe she did soft suction and that also avoided the palate to expand forward instead of pressing up too much and avoided a high narrow palate
