Tim Keller is so thought-provoking and impactful for the sake of the Gospel in today's challenging Post-Christian culture.

During my three tours in Iraq, from 2003 through 2007, I often thought of Jonah in Ninevah, as my heart for those lost to Islam had never been tested more seriously. Since then, I have come to understand what loving our enemies and praying for those who despitefully use us, truly means, and have learned to rest in the fact that God has worked out the details; yet, not as how Calvinists have, otherwise, incorrectly assessed, based on what John Calvin said: "You are doomed from the womb." No. We are not - WHOSOEVER would believe...which, we who do so, must be compelled, to share Christ in all we do - Colossians 3:23 - "Do everything, heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto man." And yes, we must speak, also, that others might hear, and always be ready to give an answer for the hope we have in him: Here is the hope I have for those lost to Calvinism, praying that such wedge as they have put in the body of Christ be lifted, which occurs when we no longer believe there are just - the elect or non-elect, and we can know such from their works. No. Salvation is available to ALL, whosoever would believe: “Whosoever” disproves Calvinism ALL we who know God is love, know from 1 John 1:5, that "in him is no darkness whatsoever"; and we furthermore know, from 1 John 1:26 that "All that is in the world, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." God foreknew his blessings for those, in him, would be blessed with the same blessings he chose for those he foreknew - Israel would be his people (Jacob's people), as well as whosoever believes in him, through their belief in Jesus Christ, the firstborn unto Salvation, whose co heirs, are all who believe in him, "whosoever" as John 3:16 states, without one "but" added to it, but what is stated in it "but have eternal life." Calvinists have confused foreknowledge with authorship, and this argument just proved that God is light, in him is no darkness whatsoever, man is responsible for his sins, and thank God for Jesus Christ, in that, through him alone we can have eternal life - "WHOSOEVER" believes in him. Paul, in Galatians chapter 5, argues over Peter's blindsightedness of the circumcised and uncircumcised by stating "I wish they were cut off," (Galatians 5:12 - meaning - those agitators would both be excommunicated as well as, disemboweling themselves), and with such colorful arguments, audacity, and sense of finality, he demonstrated truly, God's hatred of SELF-righteousness, versus his love, shown in his mercy towards sinners turning towards him, whose reward is Salvation, sealed the Moment they believe in he who forgives the sins of the entire world, as clearly shown in Ephesians 1:13-14, which illustrates the role played by the Holy Spirit, sealing the promise and blessings of eternal life, for whosoever believes. Salvation is a gift of God, whose love cannot be removed, as Paul stated in Romans 8:38-39, and is for ALL who believe in him, Jew and Gentile alike. God, help Calvinists of all shades and colors see through and beyond their filter; and instead, use the lens of the Holy Spirit, who shall remind them of everything Jesus said through his Word, instead of leaning unto John Calvin's understandings, stemming from his incorrect assessment, as he argued "we are doomed from the womb." No, we are not; "whosoever believes" proves otherwise...

A number of Keller's sermons are available on KZbin. He is an intellectual, but he 'puts his Bible teaching on the bottom shelf where us kiddies can reach it.'

While Keller might have some respectable notions on occasion, and even cite respectable men (for instance, Luther and Martin Lloyd Jones) his teaching commonly assaults or, at a minimum, detracts from orthodox Christianity (and historic Reformed focus) through emphasizing 'social justice' theories. Such is seen in how he and his 'Gospel Co' group pits people groups against one another as he calls some to victimhood status according to their skin color, and others to criminal like status according to theirs. To one, never consider the shame of your ancestors, or much of your representative ethnic groups now, and to the other, feel shame for what yours supposedly have done and what you likely continue to do. But, how much truth is in that? How does this foster the fruit of the lips unto God? And, what has this to do with the Gospel whereby we see only the new creation in Christ? And, then, there is the whole LGBTUIUSF approvals. Come on folks, this soft mannered and sympathetic sounding guy is not fanning up the flames of much other than cultural marxist ideology among the impressionable.
