Around this same time, Olyphant was on MTV Live with Carson Daly and he tells Carson Daly a story and mentions his wife. A minute later Carson asks him, "So now that you're in Scream 2, is it a lot easier to pick up women?" and Olyphant was like, "I literally just told you I was married." I was there in 86, and it was wide open. Bed and breakfast all the way down the side of Balaton, 24-hour service for rooms in Budapest, nothing like Soviet bloc expectations. Moved on to Prague after, totally different story, entire experience could have been scripted by John Le Carre.

He's my favorite guest ❤️ Also, I remember when Conan aired in Europe which was my first encounter with his brilliance. When I was a child I spent my summer vacations in Sweden and our neighbor let us watch Swedish TV all the time. You could watch Conan and Jay Leno during the day, also a ton of other American shows (all in English with Swedish subtitles). Great times! I instantly loved him but sadly I never figured out if I could watch Conan also in Germany 😔 By the way, the only person who could compete with Timothy is Joel McHale. I always wanted to see the both of them together with Conan - a dangerously funny combination! At least, I was REALLY surprised and amazed that Timothy and Joel met on Santa Clarita Diet. Still bugs me that Netflix canceled the show...

OMG, I love Scream movies ever since I saw first one in 1996, and only this moment did I realise that the killer in Scream 2 was Timothy Olyphant, lol. I didn't know him as much as I do today so back then he was a new face in movies to me and only got to know and like him after Hitman and Die Hard 4.0, but it's so cool to realise things like this decades later, lol.
