In this day and age, more people love gospel music and sing gospel music but know nothing about the Gospel message, actually some have never set foot into a church. In the UK, we have community gospel choirs where Caribbean, African, Asian, English, well anyone can join, but at least a black choir leader would lead the choristers. I reckon that's one of the ways to bring the good news to people and facilitate understanding between cultures and ethnics.

I remember watching this on a Saturday evening with my parents and all of a sudden, they felt the spirit and "got up" and then started singing "Clean Up, If You're on the Lord's Side" and made us clean up, but we were jammin' and cleanin'...The soloist was spittin' fire... shehad bars for days...We were shocked by her ability to rhyme, so we were excited to clean up and praise God...what a night!

Living in CT now. Brooklyn will never forget Pastor Timothy Wright. My nephew did a college tour & they stop by Grace BC and perform. Fried chicken smell good.in there. 1st. Lady Deborah was nice. My mom(grandma) and Aunt made sweet potato pie and tuna finger sandwiches for the college students for their bus ride. They are all gone but the memories will last forever.

This is my Jam!!!!!!!!! I literally watch this video everyday…LOL… The Late GREAT MAESTRO Elder Timothy Wright, Rest in Peace, was simply a musical genius!!!!!! Back in the day, I would catch the A or C train over to the Nostrand Ave station, then walk over to Grant square to the Famed Washington Temple (RIP Bishop FD Washington) Just to hear Elder Timothy play the organ….Man, I would watch him ever so closely, trying to remember the chords he was playing so I that could TRY to reenacted them on My Yamaha DX-7 (remember the DX-7…..LOL!!!!). I grew up going to the Greater Bibleway Temple 261 Rocester Avenue, Brooklyn NY where Chief Apostle Huie L. Rodgers is Pastor. I grew up watching Apostle Michael Rogers on Organ, Elder Allen Crews (Rest in Peace) on Piano (I learned how to play piano watching Allen Crews), Bishop Jeffrey White on Bass, and the Legendary Derrick Scofield on Drums…. . I also remember going over to Institutional to hear Monique Walker sing with Bishop Hez….. David Frazier was about 10 years younger than me, just a cute little kid, who had so much potential EVEN THEN (David Frazier idolized Allen Crews…Shoot all of us did) back in the day….All of those guys were Legends !!!!! btw, Apostle Michael Rodgers WROTE Stay with God……. … Man, Those were the days……Such Precious Memories….. Now, 30 years later, Elder Timothy Wright Son, Pastor David Wright, plays just like his dad…. it’s amazing and it is a wonderful tribute to the late, great, Maestro, his Dad………. Elder Timothy Wright Band was just so tight, the Bass Player and drummer are straight in the pocket, the Organist and keyboard player are ridiculously superb and Marguerite Holland is just so anointed. The way she delivers her verses…OMG girlfriend was strait freestyling, off the top of her head….. SHANDA ALA BO TI CI KA. I LOVE THIS SONG !!!!!!!!!!!!
