Nice Vid! I am about to install a Garmin on my Shearwater and this makes it even easier. Also, you can get a replacement electronics pod from Vibe if you don’t want to always take your fish finder out on the water and need the storage. 😎

How did you drill the holes for the glands, and what size bit? 17/32" is the biggest drill bit I have, and that seems like it might barely fit the P7.

There is three wires one is the power the other one is for the transducer what’s the third one for mine only came with two

The wires are for Power to Garmin, Transducer to Garmin, and cord to the battery.

I got those exact glands. P11 works great for power but how did you get the transducer cord to go into the P9 gland? My plug end wont fit through the gland

@@TimKidwellOutdoors im running a vivid 5cv. i guess the transducer cable is different from yours. i assumed it would be the same seems how the actual transducer looks identical. guess not. oh well. thanks for the reply :)

you probably got the one to add to the transom or the trolling motor. Thats what i got, I basically used a dremel tool to shave off enough so the transducer was parallel with the surface of the water
