Another fantastic tutorial. I'm completely sold on Melda plug-ins. Once you're dialled in on the eco-system the excitement begins. Thank you Chandler, I've learnt so much from you.

Sounds great. Did you mean to disable the High-pass filter at 13:46?

Lol. No that was just a screw up I didn't notice. I started talking about something else and clicked it off by accident. Good catch. I imagine that's why it was distorting so much.

I recently downloaded the free version of MSoundFactory - it's an amazing powerful tool by itself !!! It's really time do dig deeper into the Melda-world of modulators and envelopes! 😀 🎹 🌈

Once you start working with them you'll see almost anything is possible. The per-voice function is really interesting.

Do you have or know any videos or other resources on either making a kick or preferably even just what you can do by editing the existing kick presets?
@Chandlerguitar4 жыл бұрын
I have a few videos on making bass drum sounds, but they aren't really for kick drums, its more cinematic "boom" sounds. Perhaps in the future I'll make a video on how to make a video on how to make kick drums. Thanks for watching.

I've set up a drum kit in the MSF sampler, latency is set really low and I'm getting lag on input and playback. Any idea why?
@Chandlerguitar4 жыл бұрын
No idea. It could be your computer, DAW or the sample start times, etc. I don't have any latency with samples with my setup, but sometimes if samples aren't cut tightly it can cause latency.

Sounds more like a piece of metal but anyways, it sounds really good :) Excellent tutorial. Actually those are sounds I look for my music, so principally I don't need to do field recording any more for certain sounds :)

Thanks. The modal filter is great for foley-ish sounds.

@@Chandlerguitar I loooove foley in musical context:)

Ghandler, you cool, again and again. Bat i have another question. Damn the translator. I hope, but better, I think, I still asked my question) Hi chandler I’m still delving into the brainchild of Msoundfactory, created by a masterpiece of engineering madness, but I don’t understand how this looper works in the FX module of the factory. (dont MSuperLooper) Please help!

I'll try to get to that soon. I'll put that on my to-do list for videos.
