Amazing video! The Boise philharmonic hingers are in desperate need of this suspension ring leveling. The new hoops (with new heads) made a big improvement but still a ways to go. Lots of high and low spots on the 31" and 28" bowls. One can dream hah...

Wow, this is exactly what is needed on so many drums but how do you get the bowls round? What tools, techniques? Build own drums!

Go back to my bowl video - it’s more about the ring being round than the bowl. Copper will shape itself to the harder suspension ring, since it can be a very soft metal.

I did a head change on an Adams Dresden Classic and used the provided aluminum blocks - nice idea! I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to, though.
