Fantastic flight Tim and buddies. I studied the forecast on Friday night and saw RASP looking good and also saw the CANP/NOTAM for Worcester Beacon! But I went to Merthyr …. It was greyer, windier and rain was also coming . Anyway brilliant to see your low saves and happy face at the end. I was also happy with my gardening when I got home early grhhhh. We love PG❤

Fab flight Tim. Always inspiring. Got to love a couple of low saves. Great tenacity. I had a similar save at 600ft that day during downwind leg of triangle flight from bell. Was on a full bar dropping like stone after bum skimming 670m airspace. Too close! Managed to connect to a dribble that eventually shot me to base. No footage, sadly. Typical. You had a few followers that day by the looks. Hope to follow you too soon! Want one more big one this year.

It’s really interesting to see how you handle these low scratchy conditions. I want to get better at this. I thought I had a solid climb over a dark field of pig pens a couple of weeks ago but I just lost it all of a sudden.
@TimPentreath2 ай бұрын
Cheers Ben, hopefully it'll help, but sometimes you do just lose it - happens to me often enough. Generally the FSH thermal assistant works pretty well to find it again if it's a solid climb, but it's les effective in zeros and very weak lift... Spidy senses needed 😂
