Awesome video man. As a day one player these tips are greatly appreciated especially with helping out some of the newer/more casual players to improve. A few other decent tips that I can think of off the top of my head to add to the ones in the vid are baiting rez's, rampage can break doors, there's a small opening in the bottom corner of some doors that you can throw frags through, bunny hop healing with Octane under stim (a bit more advanced movement technique as you said), crouch spamming, quickly ADSing before/while hip firing will help lower the recoil/increase accuracy, how to turn the dummies on in the firing range, zipline juggling, melee next to a jump pad to send you straight up in the air etc. etc. All around great and informative video. Keep up the good work my friend

Honestly I've found that playing arena is the best way to practice battle royale skills. You're always face to face with your enemies so theres aim practice/ push practice, and it's most times a fast paced battle

When I try to practice in arena I always get dumasses who doesn’t even know how to aim but when I play BR I always meet enemies who jump around like a monkey on steroids dodging all my shots

I disagree strongly. Never play arenas if you want to be good at BR. They're 2 completely different games and all playing arenas will do is make you good at arenas, not br. This is a mistake i made, and now I can get 2k games every arenas match but struggle to get 500 damage in br

One thing I found that helps when playing these competitive type games is be a certain amount of indifferent, but not to the point that you're not paying attention to anything. Even in CoD I mostly keep my awareness on my surroundings and if I flop on a gunfight, just brush it off, go to the Firing range, and try to mimic the same situation and practice for it.

@@TimProVision Thank you, I didn't learn this myself though. My teacher back in high-school taught me something similar when we were training for martial arts, though I think I misinterpreted some of the stuff he said because it was more like a riddle. Great video, however, there is some minor adjustments that I noticed you missed : -You were talking about the importance of hip firing. It is indeed a great tool to close range, yet in your clips, you almost always zoom in even when the enemy is in your face. That can be confusing for new players. -Although gold knockdown shields are great to have on any legends, still, whoever has the gold backpack should have the gold knockdown shield as well. You can self-res with almost max HP which can make a real difference, compared to low health res that most often dies immediately after res. -For adjustments, there is an option to turn off screen shaking while you sprinting. I think this is single-handedly the best option and absolutely everyone should have it. Bobbing your head while running is not just annoying, but makes it much harder to spot a potential threat.

I would recommend gold armor for Crypto because EMP=50. so you can emp amd pop one cell and push when enemies are healing so you can have that little shield advantage. And adding to previous, when you EMPd and your teammates pushing, you pop one shield cell which means that you are able to come quicker so you have easier time to finish the opponents. You shouldnt be doing this all times tho

I’m new to apex only been playing for about a week now but roughly around 3hrs of total play. Just getting a huge understanding I’ve the different weapon types and legends is where I’m at trying to find where I’m comfortable with most legend wise cus I’ve found that you’re never going to get those weapons that you like the most every time. Might have to work or grab some kills to get the armor and weapons you like most so I got that much down so far. Now over extending is my downfall cus I have a habit of rushing engagements and playing solo where sometimes you get those randoms that like to go off and do their own thing and get downed before you get to them is one of the throngs I hate most lol. But digging the content and it does help out alot

Fast forward a couple of days and I’ve gotten 4 wins in arenas and 4 3rd place ranking in trios and actually won a trios match in a weeks time with a total of about 2.5 kills per round. I get more assist and knock downs. Where I found out another thing is focusing on a downed enemy will also get you killed so I try not to focus on killing them off but use them as bait to kinda pin the team to my advantage to either force them to have to think on continue fighting running or having that one player that’s gonna risk trying to revive that player

This is tough. A lot of the time it comes down to purpose. My big tip for overall map movement is to really be aware of the drop ship path. This will help you make some assumptions as to where enemies might be.

I wouldn't play bloodhound as your first character. I played him first and then just COULDN'T switch characters. his Q is just a noob way of feeling safe. when I played other characters, for a few days I just felt so vulnerable and killable since I can't know where people are. learning to hear people, and to always be careful, rather than just spam Q, is super important IMO.

For me panicking and decision making are my 2 main problems and rather often my friends blame me for us losing and sure I make some stupied plays but no one else calls the shots, always me-"where we goin?" them "idk" WHAT DO U EXCEPT ME TO DO? I'm forced to call shots and get blamed for it. At the same time I don't mind cause ik its making me better but man my anxiety cant take it, I'm constantly watching streams, vods, tip vids and pro league vids just to try to improve for my buds, I made a routine warmup where I do eye tracking, aim labs and recoil control in game. I literally have notes saved on my phone of all tips/quotes that I've learned to help in game lol. Ill be the first to say I AM NOT THE BEST AT DESCISON MAKING I just freak out, sometimes tho i go off, in the zone but rarely...at this point I love the game to death but after all this practice just for my buds to play 2-4 games and get pissed and hop off...just lost on what to do. P.S kinda ranted off my bad just need help with decision making and my anxiety while playing!

Honestly lately I have been getting better with my aim but my movement always holds me back and I get very nervous but today I won my first 2v1.

I used to be an aggressive and successful player. But for an aggressive playstyle you need confodent teammates while I got 90% loot goblins. So I have become passive and it fecking sucks but what am I supposed to do when my teammates do not push even if I downed 2 people and the last one is 40 hp
