The guide is dated but it STILL remains very relevant. No changes to her in Season 17. 2/13/23: Guide is over a year old, however it still remains VERY relevant. She did have a small nerf but also a small buff that is outlined below. She is going to still be one of if not the best legend in the game. 8/9/22 Comments: Horizon saw a pretty sizable nerf to her ultimate this season. It now takes friendly fire damage and more damage from explosives. This hurts its offensive power with the Lift-Black Hole-Grenade combo. Definitely need to take care when using arc stars around this ability now. The guide is still relevant. 2/8/22 Comments: Horizon is still insane and has no changes since the launch of this video. Give her a try! *CHANGES TO HORIZON SINCE THE LAUNCH OF THIS VIDEO:* Season 16: None Season 16: Tactical - Gravity Lift Increased weapon spread in Gravity Lift (no longer perfect accuracy) Increased vertical speed of Gravity Lift by 10% Season 15: None Season14: Black Hole: Adjustments to N.E.W.T’s hitbox to make destroying it more reliable. The "Fake Lift" strat has won me so many games as Horizon. Like you rightfully said, so many Horizons use it for aggressive or positional plays. Using it as a Red Herring can allow you to solo flank entire teams. Amazing guide!

Horizon is fun to play, but she’s not my movement legend. Her lift is the best part of her kit. You have to pair everything with her to the lift. The passive is especially nice when you’re dropping onto a spot with other people because you can pick up loot faster since there’s no drop delay.

Arc + NEWT is great, not only does it deal massive amounts of damage but it also slows enemies leaving them stuck in the black hole

People always say don’t use it at the start of a fight but it usually ends my fights in about 15 seconds. people just need to learn how to throw her ult properly and they won’t complain about it. I switch back and forth between my 3 mains a lot, but haven’t played horizon in a few seasons and am really enjoying her again. I’m always confident in my squad wiping abilities when I play her lol.

Another trick I learnt is that if u get on a zip line whilst still in the gravity lift (and u haven’t got the little boost out of it yet) then that boost will instead occur once u hop off the zip line, giving you a little extra height. This works differently on jump towers, as the boost will actually occur at the end of your glide when you’re about to land, giving you a bit of extra height and distance. But remember, u have to get on the zip before using your boost out the gravity lift. This trick isn’t very useful but it’s funny to do a little mid-air hop after gliding

I've been using horizon since she came out. I loved her lore and I'm even studying physics. She's an amazing movement legend, but I wished her black hole did damage just like Ash's tactical, since she's supposed to be offensive.

As a die hard horizon main since season 7 with 9k kill there's only one thing I'll add and that is I use the black hole like a caustic ult just as a distraction because the ult without any followup it's kinda useless but other than that good video :)

Just unlocked Horizon. She was the legend that consistently killed me (as well as Wraith and now Conduit ) and I struggled to kill. Now I am having a blast with her. My favorite legend by far. I am still not moving as she's supposed to be moving but still getting in those kills and assists in the Mixtape. Big fan of your videos and your playing style.

My one tip for horizons is when you you want to laser oponents on the lift throw it 2 to 3 meters in front of you so you can start shooting them at the bottom and get a good amount of damage to your oponents

I do the fake out with Gibby too lmao. If you throw his shield one way and run the other without them seeing you they’ll think you’re at the shield and you can buy yourself more time than if you were under the shield with them moving in

I have found that using horizon really does mean that there's a big focus on the weapons and 2 loadouts I really like to use are a sentinel and a devotion (charged sentinel + turbocharger on the devotion) And a prowler and an R-301

While I like Horizon’s kit, because of my internet, I tend to lag out of horizon queue when I try to strafe or when I even go up the port. Somehow, I can randomly move off of it with the smallest move of my stick, and cannot readjust because my screen freezes or lags enough to prevent me from recovering. It’s sad because when my internet is fine I have fun with her character, but the lag makes her too risky to play. Because of this, I’ve defaulted to playing Pathfinder and Valkyrie, as although I can lag out while grappling or flying while using them, I find that I’m able to recover much better than when using horizon. If anyone has any tips for me to get around this issue, I would appreciate it. However, because it’s just an internet issue, I don’t think that there is much that can be done to fix this. It’s unfortunate, because when I play in places with better internet, the lag issues are almost nonexistent.
