@@Zections in calculating hours of gameplay time you don’t tend to calculate sleep or breaks. So they’re applying the same method here. If you counted sleeping and breaks 11 years of fps gaming is probably a majority of players However I would wager shroud after the last like 20 or 30 years could absolutely clock in a decade of gameplay time lmao I put in a full year of rainbow six siege gameplay time, like 9000 hours. Over the course of 3 years

@@CroppedCross3 He's nearly 30 so that's nearly 1/3 of his life. He's been playing in the pro scene since 2013, so 10 years. To get to that level and stay there he would have to play 2/3 of his days, or at least half the day. He's also a streamer since 2014-15 so he would be doing this time on games anyway. In those 10 years, that's 5-7 years playing, learning, practicing, reading and keeping up with the game he's competing in. Then there's the 10 years prior to that where he's likely spent at least 3 more years playing while at school. 11 years is close enough. Give it another 3-5 years and he'll be at 11 for sure.

People have no problem watching elite athletes be spectacular at their sport. But when it’s video games people jump to their cheating. I think it’s because we are all in the same space playing. Some people are just elite at what they do.

Well you can't install an aimbot and start throwing 3 pointers in basketball LOL. The only way you can cheat as an athlete is to take steroids, and guess what, more of them take roids than you could possibly know. They just off cycle right before the drug tests. Not saying shroud is a cheater but using athletes is just not a good comparison.

i be honest. between a 100k fps gamer and a 10k fps gamer, the difference probably isnt much once u reach a skill level of the top 99.5% of players in fps with 10k hours. the next 90k might put u in the top 99.6% of players. defran in my opinion has just as good aim as shroud. i understand shroud is very good and one of the best in the world. but if he THE best. i dont know. its a really close race between a few guys and depending on who is having an off day can determine the result to the competition if they did compete. at that level, everythhing is so close

I used to watch a ton of Shroud but it honestly started wearing on my just how good he is. Like I watch Tim, or Doc, or Summit and it's like... they're good. But they're an attainable level of good. You know, I had written a whole paragraph about Shroud and then I realized it's not something I should be aiming at you. So just know that I've seen much better players than Shroud. It is possible to achieve that level of skill. It's just about how much you want it. Most people say they wanna be "the next shroud" or at least somewhat as good as him, but then they just play games casually and wonder why they can't just game like Shroud.

a lot fo this is becuase he sees things happen before everyone else with fps and rig advantage. most pros come from wealthy bacgrounds and good computers someone playing with liek 100 frames has no chance against someone with years of practice on a perfect top of the line rig with a 244 monitor. Like with even a 30 fps difference and an = skill level . it should be impossible for you to win a "peek* because the other person will always see you come around the corner before you see them
