I came into the comments to mention this exact same thing! Ninja has incredible aim and awareness of the enemy! I feel though he definitely likes Punisher as a DPS because his Kit is very similar to his main play style in fortnite, the 3rd person view, Smoke grade jump (shockwaves) Zipline (Ziplines, Shockwaves, Grappler, Ect) and both his primary, and secondary fire!... I think if he had a bigger history of hero shooters people could give him the shit they do. As far as I'm aware Tim played a WHOLE lot more Overwatch than ninja! which is why Tim analyzes the games the way he does!

Ninja is used to playing games where you CAN win a 1v3 with better aim mechanics, but hero shooters have too many abilities and things beyond aim. There are also rock-paper-scissors type 'counters' in this game based on hero choice.

Play CS2 and win a 1v3 not picking them off in isolation. Fortnite works because you can isolate with builds. In most games, being teamed up on means being out DPS’d and usually results in un-winnable encounters. This is why his game sense and spacing are so bad. Ninja is cooked and only knows selfish gameplay from his career.

i think that's just his way of building up his ego to take the 1v1 challenge against hela, but he didn't have the right character for it. the fact is, somebody needed to take out the hela if they wanted to win that game. he tried, but it's just never going to happen with punisher. he needs to learn a flanking hero to be able to take on those type of ego challenges. some games you just know the enemy team is being carried by 1 guy and you need to go after him.

I watched Ninja stream Rivals for the first time yesterday and i think mechanically he's great but like 30-50% of his deaths are completely braindead "bruh wtf are you doing???" kind of deaths that you just can't overlook. And in those deaths he's either blaming his team for being "bad" or he's blaming his status as a popular streamer as to why the enemy is hard focusing him. The reality is he's just way out of position and doesn't want to admit it 😭 The difference between Ninja and Tim is Ninja 90% crashes out on his team and 10% admits his own mistakes while Tim is like 40% crashes out on his team and 60% admits his own mistakes. It took Tim 4 days to solo to GM, i think it'd take Ninja 4 weeks to solo to GM.

Not only does he claim that he's getting focused cuz he's a streamer (which is true in some circumstances, not most, as focusing one person in this game is nearly impossible because everyone is grouped up) he plays healers which is vital to killing in order to make team progression. So for example, in his latest stream he gets ulted by a storm as rocket Racoon and he claims the storm is a fan but 1: ur supposed to look for 1 of 2 targets with storm as she 3 taps and can move in it and 2: he is a healer, of course she is going to aim for him lol. But also yes, he does just play out of position a lot and die for it cuz an easy pick will always get focused lol

Ninja's problem is definitely his ego. He overestimates his mechanical ability, I mean yeah, his aim is good, but sometimes his plays are so braindead, it's like he's either trying so bad to get a clip and show "how good he really is" on stream or he just overestimates his ability and thinks he can turn the tides of a battle by himself, but this is not Fortnite, this is a hero shooter and you need to know how to work as a team in order to succeed in this game~

I think Ninja definitely has the skills necessary to dominate, but he's investing those skills into characters that don't fit his instinctual playstyle. He plays punisher like a frontline, away from the team, thinking he has all the healing in the world behind him to let him survive, but he ends up getting rolled. Most of his time playing the game has been as a healer, but he plays like an aggressive healer, that is still itching for kills. IMO Ninja would be better off investing his time into learning new characters that are great for flanking, that excel in 1v1 situations with great mobility. OR even play a tanky character, fit for creating space, defending the team, and commanding the battle. Currently he's playing characters that excel at picking from a distance, on the backline, but using them like flankers and tanks, yknow? At least thats just what i noticed. Just spend some time going through all the characters, give them an hour, and see who clicks with you.

@ To be fair, there is a trick to Moon Knight and that's the fact you don't need to have the crosshair exactly on the enemy. The hitbox of his attack is quite large. You'd need to be a one trick to know this. But he doesn't one trick

yeah looking at the gameplay I feel like psylocke would kinda fit his playstyle. He really likes diving the backline for picks but punisher and moonknight just do not have the mobility to escape from that, or even the burst damage to get those picks in the first place (at least punisher doesn't). With psylocke he can go in on the supports and then also quickly escape, would be much better for what he's trying to do

i kind of wish you would show tyler what his deaths look like from a healer's perspective. like Tim hints on it but almost all healers need some kind of Line of sight. Ninjas positioning in some instances are only off by a couple of feet where it could turn into a really good off angle. but yeah good flankers can be healed from the backline with positioning it takes practice and map knowledge and most importantly patients!
