I am seeing a lot of misses yea some are because behind walls and shields etc, but im not seeing the stickyness of real aimbots, although if hes cheating he probably has it on the lower aim locking setting so its less noticeable.

people need to grasp that no game has a full proof anti cheat. valorant and faceit market like kernal level is but its not. in the end the results are the same 10-30% of cheaters in all games. there are an insane amount of skilled cheaters who use expensive hardware cheats and you can not tell in close games a lot jus ttoggle once to swing momentum. if you do just a little research you see the numbers of people into this and its very high. people who can afford nice computers on average are working full time and cant put the hours into a game to compete with people who dont work and spam the game all day. so they cheat. ive met countless people who pay 200-10k on cheats and countless who have been doing it over a decade undetected. some via subscription where the total spent gets even higher. they dont care because they get paid a lot for work and thats what they do in their free time and consider it a time saver and prevents losses to try hards and other cheaters they just want to win and dont think they are cheating anyone because the system is to exploitable anyway so no one should care in their logic. In todays world your rank in a game can have a lot of value socially but also through platforms like twitch and youtube. Plenty of gamers who hit top rank in a lot of top games have now made a living off making content. A lot of people immediately will respect and listen to you and take interest. So i personally see the number going past 30% to even 50% eventually. cheaters in all aspects of life. show me where people play a fair game.

This is an exact reflection of a statement I made on a Reddit post being concerned about dmg numbers. If you’re efficient with your kills. You will do less damage per kill. If you kill the same 250 hp target 10 times with no misses, and not giving time for a healer to heal them. That’s 2500 dmg. Doing poke dmg to a tank and poking healers to set up kills in a normal scenario is where you’re gonna get 10k 10 kill games.

Just depends on the situation. I have had tank games in diamond where I get 30k damage but only 15-20 kills it just depends on damage profiles and burst.

Interpreting the various metrics you get at the end of a game for Rivals is pretty complicated. Whether high damage is better or high kills low damage is better is really context dependent.

That's the main downside with the longevity of this game. Once established hacks/cheats are launched, due to this game being free, it will share the same fate Warzone suffers from. No matter how many you ban, they come back with no issues.

Seeing Tim talk about cheating punisher reminded me that the first cheater I came across was a punisher. My whole team knew within the first few minutes of the game because the guy was absolutely melting all of us non stop. It was a blowout loss

I'd have to say that they are doing a lot better than any other game out there are this point. The question is whether they will continue to be like this. My hope is that they will.

@@Franko-Gaming agreed. I mean I worked my ass off in Overwatch and got all the way to Masters but it really started to feel like a chore to play. And more often than not I would end a session of OW upset and tilted. I don't get that with Rivals for some reason. I think it helps that you can get SVP and not be punished for a loss if you are obviously performing well. That's a super cool feature.

Between hackers and people who try to learn how to play the game in RANKED matches, I'm never gonna leave Bronze rank. Play practice matches against AI and learn how to play or dont play ranked. The AI matches are amazing for learning and the practice range is good for learning how to use new characters. Don't main one character. Learn them all. Nothing worse than teammates who refuse to/cant use other characters.

I’ve only fought one hacker (that I know of) and it was a hela. I could tell first killcam, com’d it to my teammates so they would watch too. We reported her and the next day I got on and had a message letting me know they were banned for 100 years. BEST FEELING EVER lol

Yeah if you report a player you get a message about what they did about them. Reported a guy for throwing the other day (Got a big sum total of like 4 kills when we all had 15-25 then proceeded to sit in spawn for the rest of the game), he wasn't banned but was restricted from matchmaking for some time, probably 30-60 minutes. I was given a message similar to the one shown at the end.
