I think for any MW weapon...The best hipfire combo is Merc+5mw+Stippled Grip Tape (you need the three of them...at least I needed all of them to feel like hipfiring to max ability)! For me, that's how I was building them back when I was grinding Damascus last year

When people think of a secondary they think of making it a super ads or super hipfire but both will have bad recoil and bad hipfire since there are better choices. I think the amax with mono, cammondo, 45 round, tac, and not a no stock but the stock that increases ads. This helps make it snappy but also good at range. Since there isnt a barrel it helps with ads but not much with recoil and range but it's secondary so range doesnt matter.
