The people helping with th eharvest are they buyers ? are they harvesting their own already bought fish ? Those koi are huge but why so few in that size pond ? Amazing koi many koi they can get in the paddling pool..I counted 23. From the second pond..how heavy do you reckon each of those fish weigh...just interested.

Not undesirable at all, just cheaper than females

Males are less desirable because they’re more slender generally the kois who win competitions are more torpedo shape bodies they’re more fuller, and that tends to be the female
