The Larger Showa at 20:48 was one of my favorites. I kept seeing it all weekend while I was up there. If it hasn't sold by spring I may be asking Brian to send it down to Chattanooga with the rest of our fish!

I am surprised the way they unload the small fish doesn’t it stress them being drained into a bucket like that ? Anyway amazing video thanks Tim

It really doesn’t. They have been in the bag so long they need fresh water asap! It’s the quickest way. No harm to the fish at all

Hate to say it but your introduction of FFP to all your contacts in Japan is likely to cause an adverse effect to the whole Koi market! His buying power is likely to drive up prices and create shortages for the rest of us! I’m sure it was never your intention but that’s probably the way it’s going to go! Have already seen vids by other youtubers commenting about how Brian and FFP are buying up everything!

The Koi industry is a simple business. It requires clients to buy Koi, so the more clients you have the more you sell. FFP have a lot of clients who want to buy Koi. They don’t just buy Koi for the hell of it they are selling the koi to their client base and yes, for stock to supply their 7 plus stores in the USA. You talk about buying power but it really is just exactly the same as any Koi dealer does. Just on a bigger scale, because they are on a bigger scale. No idea how you can say it would drive the prices up.

@ Time will tell, but supply and demand is what sets prices for any commodity and Koi are no different! When a player enters that is able to dominate a market it usually never ends well!

@ I assume you know how many Koi are produced in Japan. The demand will never, ever worry the supply. Ever.
