Tim have you encountered this situation. we are replacing old plcs that can only go to version 20-21 im guessing because they are discontinued we are taking backups fron the old plcs and try to download to the new plcs that can go to a higher version and when ever we try do download the program its deleting some of the modules im guessing because the modules are not compatible with the new plcs i hope i made sense with this. any thoughts and suggestions?

When you change the revision, there is an output window at the bottom of Studio 5000 that contains warnings and other messages. What does it say when you do it? My wild guess is it was a third party module but there are a few modules that are no longer compatible at all with Studio

@ all the faults are its undefined tags from the modules that aren't able to download as downloading it shows the modules being deleted then populates the errors from all the tags that got deleted

Are they AB modules or 3rd party?

Do they have an updated download for it. I know they closed up some issues with 3rd parts EDS files which forced some vendors to update them.
