hi Tim you are the man and this question will sound really silly but where in ccw will i find control bits or internal bits that i would use with a hmi? I am a lot more familiar with automation direct plc's like brx or click

Just create a tag under Global Variables. A BOOL data type would be a bit or a 0/1. DINT for storing whole numbers. REAL for storing decimals.
