What I most want in a new bible is thicker paper -- MUCH thicker paper, like the type that is used in the vast majority of books in this country. To facilitate the use of thicker paper, the bible could be split into two volumes. You could still use beautiful, high grade paper, and a variety of covers, leather, synthetic and board. I'd also like to see larger fonts, such as 11 or 12 and up. I would actually read a bible like this , rather than just sticking it on a shelf as something pretty to look at. For now, I just read the bible on my Kindle, because I can adjust the font size, and I don't have to deal with turning impossibly thin pages.

I recommend the Eastern Orthodox New Testament. Split into 2 volumes with early church fathers commentary at the end of each book. Thick paper. It's the Patriarchal Text of 1904 which was approved for liturgical use in the Orthodox Church. Easy to read.

I love the LSB, and I am going to say the same thing in the survey, but I would like to see an edition with translation footnotes but not a reference edition, and I think preferably single column paragraph format. The Giant Print Reference and Portable Paragraph Reference are both great layouts, but it would be nice to have single column to have more breathing room, and the cross references can kind of drown out the footnotes since they are together.

There are so many new bibles on this list to choose from. My choice right now would be the NIV Messianic Bible. I often use the CJB (Complete Jewish Bible) in my studies. It is wonderful seeing the names of the chapters and the people in the original pronunciations. Thank you for this video. lots of exciting things happening this year! I think the most exciting for me personally is the NKJV wide margin from Schuyler. Love their wide margin bibles, and it tracks well with my decision to make 2025 my Textus Receptus year--reading all the way through the KJV and NKJV.

I am a huge fan of Practicing the Way and got a copy of the Lectio Bible early by being a member of "The Circle" (those that donate to their ministry regularly) and it is awesome. All of their resources are top notch and I teach them at my church. You all should definitely get one.

Most excited about the ESV Heirloom reboot. I really wish they would offer an Heirloom option with the 36GSM paper Allan uses. Crossway's bibles are thin enough to add some bulk without affecting portability. The new Quentels are thinner and could be improved by the use of that paper as well.

Thank you, Tim, for all the hard work you put into all the research and into making this video for us. We love you for it!! I am looking forward to the Nelson NKJV VBV single column reference Bible. I had a copy of the non-premium version and I loved the layout but the quality was lacking. Can't wait for that one! My birthday is in March so that will be a great gift for myself. I also wished Nelson would make a premium version of the NKJV Open Bible. This Bible is a fantastic Bible for study. It gives you the tools to do your own study and discover for yourself what the Holy Spirit inspired without all the commentary. The tools are awesome and fit the way my brain is wired. Just wished it would come in a premium style with a little better paper. May God bless everyone in 2025!

Thank you Tim! I'm excited about these bibles only wish 1 or 2 would include the Apocrypha or make a CE. So glad you were able to go over & show wonderful premium bibles to hopefully positively influence new premium bibles for She reads Truth. ESV would be a good translation for Humble Lamb & I know from our other Tim last year no CE nor Apocrypha which really is disappointing ok for me, I know I'm probably alone on this.

Hey Tim! Great content. I'm definitely excited about the Schuyler RVR 1960. Since that's the version grew up with. I read various in English, plus the NTV is my daily at the moment. However, I recently opened my old RVR 1960 gifted to me in my teenage years. I gotta tell you...That hit different.

Daniel @Humble Lamb, PLEASE use the BSB!! The traditional sounding translation with the Humble Lamb drop caps and art...I'll need at least a couple for myself, and then Christmas gifts, Birthdays, etc You would be the sole focus of the growing BSB army for premium Bibles.

What I'm excited for this upcoming year. We'll I've been patiently awaiting my delivery of Humble Lamp NLT, so I can't count that since I've already ordered it in June '24 via Kickstarter. I'm very intrigued with the NIV Messianic Study Bible. Wishlist: 1) Humble Lamb Journal Book that matches goatskin offerings. Pastor Tim teased this last year briefly...and I've been hoping that it would happen. Fingers crossed that this is one of the big announcements. 2) Cambridge NKJV Diadem. This is long overdue.

I’m excited to see the NIV Application Study Bible. I have always loved the Life Application Study Bible (have a copy even in the old Living Bible).
