I've been looking for this video for a few months since my 5th gear stopped working. Thank you very much. Yes, mine was also desoldered and after fix - started clicking and indicator appeared on a dashboard. Best regards and thanks man!

I’m new to Volvos, drove it home after purchasing yesterday and was working then stopped and the light came on and won’t go off. I can’t go past 70mph and if I stomp on it in 4 the car revs but goes no where. Curious would this be caused by it not going into overdrive or is it a transmission issue

Sorry I am geting to this late. Is the red arrow on? It sounds like yours must shift into overdrive to go 70.
