Tin HiFi P1 Max Review - Better than you expect

The P1 Max is my favorite planar, above timeless, hook X, and OG s12. My best planar is my highly modded S12 modded by Micheal Bruce to his Eru specs. Hard to get, but we’ll worth it. According to Akros KZbin channel, he had bought several units to check for qc issues and he had no unit variations anything like what you saw. My P1 Max set only has a pinna gain of about 7-8db. Your set was showing 11-12db in that area….ouch.

Yeah, my unit(s) were rough and did not really look like other measurements I have seen... But even with what I got, it's still a good planar and when on sale, it probably is among the best price/performance sets out there. But I can only rate what I have and how the experience around that was and unfortunately, that was not too great :-/
