Thank you for the updates, Niall. My eyes prickle when I think of Tina not being well. I feel sad that she's just found her perfect life and it won't last as long as we'd all want. I don't understand why she can't have a home dialysis machine. She could lie in someone's arms, getting a massage, have a permanent port put in so she doesn't get a needle every day. 2 hours a day would perk her up - and the machine could be used for other dogs, even lent to vets, to book other dogs in. I am sure the donations would cover the purchase price in a day or 2. The other option is blood donations. Take the stress off Tina's kidneys. Worst case, a couple of hors lying still, while she gets a massage or of she is very quiet, she could be in a crate with a bone.

It's so important for people to learn about overpopulation and understand why sterilizing pets and never breeding them is crucial. I just don't see how anyone who loves dogs can contribute to shelter deaths without a second thought. Every open home should be rescuing/adopting, without exception. Spay and neuters are crucial. I so appreciate your undying commitment to not only saving these lives, but educating others about how to do the same. I donated a small amount, and will come back when I have work again, to donate more. Your cause is beyond worthy of any and all support available and I hope others will donate what they can as well. My heart will always be in rescue, and I'll always save as many as I can until I can get to where you are. Much love. ❤

Hi there. Milk thistle is amazing for kidney function and of course supports the liver too. I gave it to my cat through dropper in glycerin form in stage 3 and 4 renal failure. Cats cannot ingest alcohol so I had to buy it from a compounding pharmacy...ALCOHOL FREE!!!. I would only give her one or two drops daily. Sometimes less depending on the colour of her tongue. By the time she reached stage 4, vet said she lived 2.5 years longer than normal. Gave it to my dog in powder form through his lifetime but only when I saw his tongue's colour was a paler shade of pink. Both of their tongues went back to kitten and puppy pink. Follow directions of their weight for dosage. Milk thistle is incredible!!! Best!

Yea totally agree.sterilisation is the only way. However why don’t governments match the funding you get? Or at least invest in this programme ?
