Thank you for reacting! 👍🙏Tina was walking that platform during this song each time since this tour, till the last one in 2009. Here she was 61. And she was sprinting across that stage after 90 minutes of singing and dancing! Yes, I think definitely something Freddie would still be doing although he said once that prancing on the stage in outrageous costumes would make him look ridicilous at older age. It would have been awsome to see Tina and Freddie together on the stage with their insane energy! 🔥

Her performance in this concert was just magical AND she was running around in heels, short dresses, dancing, everything and her energy and commitment never wavered. Between Tina, her band and her dancers and then the audience just loving her and giving her all that energy and love back to her. ❤

In the days before the internet, we only got rare glimpses of singers and bands. Usually doing badly lip synced performances on cheap tv shows. But this is the Tina I remember. The link is her covering a kicking Bob Seger song, “Fire Down Below”. Boy I remember those sparkly costumes of hers, and legs of steel. Bob said she was always an inspiration. And he had a cover of her “Nutbush City Limits” on his breakthru Live Bullet album. The “Nutbush City Limits” cover by Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa is a really good one too. The original version came out in the early 1970’s back when she was married to Ike. It has a different 70’s funk vibe to it. Still a great song she wrote it about her hometown in Tennesse.

I’m soooo happy you did this live version. I requested this in the comments from another live Tina performance a few weeks ago, and I’m so pleased you thought it was magic too. Her energy is incredible as it’s way faster than the originally recorded version and her performance on the big arm (I don’t know how she maintained her balance!) interacting with the audience, dancers and her band is out of this world! This wasn’t even the last song!!

We noticed that look on your face! 😉 I did scroll down a bit and haven't yet seen someone mention that Nutbush Tennessee is where she was from. I know the song but even I had a bit of a time understanding HER singing it. (I could in my head) So kind of a short story about growing up there. BTW the tubes are being lovely again. I was shown this song earlier but it showed it as a mix of "songs like this" WTH KZbin? I thought it was part of songs you had already done so did not click on it. At least I found it now! During Foregin affair tour the ecore song was Better be good to me, and the claw was used first time. Tina climbed over the rail, and threathed to jump, if audience don't sing.
