It wasn't her last tour. This was the 2000 tour celebrating 50 years in the business. Her last tour was 2008-2009. I was lucky enough to see her that final tour. I saw her November 5th, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Was the best concert I ever attended in my life; pure magic! I miss her already so much! ♥

Wow what an unexpected treat to watch this so many years later. And as I expected what a true professional, knows what she's doing, guides everyone along with her, hard work but you can see they were also having fun. I just came across this. She loves to perform. I find that her songs in concert are much better than the recordings. The fire and reality is there. I never saw her in concert, but I enjoy them all. A great artist.

I saw Tina Turner's Farewell Tour here in Philadelphia with Joe Cocker ,Tina Turner is Phenomenal and Simply The Best! In the seventies I saw her with Ike and The Ikettes doing Proud Mary Live! Right up by the stage.

This is not Tina's last tour, her last tour was in 2009. I know because it was the only tour i never went to and regretted it to this day. This is Tina's twenty four seven tour which was in 2000.

i cry a little every day since she passed away ... i saw her so many times in concert... yesterday i also visit my hometown Zuerich.... i was so proud that Tina move to here at that time in Kuesnacht .... 2 miles from here Algonquin house i often go the zuerichsee beach and i walk over sidewalk her house.... (NO I AM NOT A STALKER, hahaha....) unfortunatly i never seen her in all the years in private in Zuerich, only at her last concert, but i think, when she´s not singing, Tina wants enjoy her Iife and rest...i love her so much, but god took her now and we will remember this icon... the QUEEN of Rock´n Roll ... nobody can ever hold a candle to her...

She was pure energy on stage, and at her age it was amazing how ended her concerts still showing that strength that made so famous, and her voice was not far behind. In the concert that Tina Turner gave in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in front of more than 150,000 people she was over 70 years old and showed that energy and dynamism that, in my opinion, no one could compare with her. I have this DVD yes she was 61 she performs a 2009 I believe tell her late 70s she finally retired. Fortunately our health was pretty good up until then how scary that we don’t feel you can destroy your life I have a little experience with a close friend who I lost, but we have a queen for a long time. God I love her.

If you want to know a treat after you love someone for 45 years and you see them a message I’m 57 and I can tell you you work on their energy every day and she just was out there. She knew it was time but she just performed till she didn’t want to anymore. She absolutely loved every second I will join her craft I watched everything she ever did, and there will never be a replacement. Everyone that Neumom knew I was obsessed with her. More importantly I cherish her talent. We will miss you forever.

How many people do you know who run through their whole show to make sure it’s perfect theirselves? I can understand why she was so tired of doing shows she’s a natural perfectionist who’s essentially doing a 4 hour show every day. 2 hours rehearsals 2-3 hour show depending on how fired up the audience was. I can only think of Celine Dion and Queen doing the same amount of work during their rehearsals making sure to perform the show and make sure the acoustics sounded good for whatever venue they were at. Tina definitely deserves her retirement.
