This was Tina in her 60’s.....a decade later She did her final tour at age 71!!!!.....and was still just as powerful and beautiful!!! Tina is now retired over a decade and we miss her performance but so glad She’s still here! We love you Tina!!!

Check out her Steel Claw live performance on US tv show. She was mid forties then and just before her gigantic comeback. Loved her since I was 14 back in the 80’s.

Glad to see you've discovered the magic of Tina Turner's live performances. She is at her best live. Check out her Foreign Affair tour live. In fact every live performance she's absolutely the Queen. The Best was originally sung by Bonnie Tyler but Tina has made it her own.

Tyler didn't write it so it doesn't really matter who wrote it,and Bonnie's version isn't that good and it wasn't a hit So the the writer asked Tina Turner to do it,but Tina said something's gotta change,so Tina Turner changed the tempo to more upbeat and ofcourse with her voice and it became a top 20 hit on the hot 100 and became a Tina Turner Anthem

You're right, Bonnie Tyler sang this song before on her Hide your heart album but she didn't released it as a single. Tina just did later the best version😉 Saw her once live in 1992 on a festival , but only for two songs cause my fellows wanted to leave before to not getting into traffic chaos😕. She was the last to perform on this festival.. Save the best for last..

That is my guy EUGE Groove on the saxs, now a very well accomplished & loved smooth jazz artist with a string of hits on his own! It was funny when you mentioned you love the saxs playing and I was already looking for him on that stage, because I knew he toured with Tina Turner on her last farewell tour around the world. He was also a former saxs player before Tina with Tower of Power! This my first time actually seeing in him a performance with Tina!

The Best was released in 1989. You should check out her video clip from her HBO special, Break Every Rule, called Overnight Sensation from her album Break Every Rule. The show says it was filmed in France but it was actually filmed in a club in London.

Great reacting Dereck, you rock too! This is good, but what I saw in Finland 2009, Tina's last tour, was something unbelievable. There's no words to explain. Never seen a show like that. Many, many happy days for Tina, I hope she still enjoys her life in Europe with Erwin!

Saw her in a small club in Tempe, AZ not long after her breakup from Ike. Maybe a hundred or so people in there. Tina, three dancers, small band. Feverish.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was reported that Tina had her legs insured for $3 million by Lloyd's of London. According to CelebsNow, "This popular old pop singing icon decided to take term insurance on her legs for $3 million. As much as she sang and danced, there is certainly reasoning behind this move, as her legs were iconic pieces of her performances."
