I have loved Tina for over 50 years. I remember as a teenager seeing her with Ike in 1966. She blew this 14 year old little white boy away! I have loved her ever since and have attended multiple concerts after she split from Ike. Truly the queen of rock 'n' roll and simply the best!

I grew up in St. Louis the same time as Tina Turner. I even baby sat for the owner of the nightclub where she and Ike played in St. Louis. On Saturday nights we could hear Ike and Turner on the radio doing their show across the Mississippi in East St. Louis. I remember the night she noted how loud the audience was and said with great class "We will still be doing a great show for you." At the same time she was being a wife and mother who gave her children the closest attention. I think everyone knew it was just a matter of time before Tina and Ike became world-wide stars and when Tina eventually would move on to her own career and life with great courage.
