Omg I love how you just openly and honestly say “please don’t leave any mean comments, if you do I might not open up in the future, because mean comments do affect me”! Like yees queen let them people know that they can’t just do whatever they want to! I love that you’re just honestly saying that it affects you, mostly people just say “don’t leave mean comments” and I think that makes people want to even more, but now when you’re actively telling people what could happen if they do leave mean comments I think there would be way less of a chance for them to actually do it, because they are confronted with the consequences of their actions even before they’ve done it!! ♥️♥️😘🌸Love you and love your videos! If I could change anything about myself it would be to have even more confidence and to love myself more! And I would love a gift card to Mark & Scribe! Love everything you do! 😘♥️

I see your point, but there are some disgusting ones out there that even if you told them that they will still do it, they don't care what you feel, and knowing that it affects her would make them want to hurt her more, they love having that effect....

Oh wow this got real really quick 😂 absolute legend! I think your honesty about sex and your relationship troubles really speaks about your maturity as a woman because honestly so many ladies especially Asian women in my community feel its better to not discuss those topics so hearing about it from someone I respect especially so publicly is so amazing. I think the one thing I want to change about myself is to take more initiation and nit let rejection scare me. Loved your video and all of your amazing content 💕💕💕

I love how this video felt like a real girl talk and how honest you were. You are such a pretty human being and I love watching your videos.💕 If I could change one thing about myself, it would be my confidence. I am a bit introverted and I want to be able to confidently express my opinions and talk to people without thinking that others are going to judge me. I also want to be confident in my appearance and my body. I don’t like how I keep picking apart my facial features and judging the way my body looks. Hopefully as I mature, my ways of thinking will change like you. Tina, you are my inspiration😊 (Also, I have stubby eyelashes that even mascara won’t help and so I love your brand, Petite Cosmetics)

Being in my early 20s and still figuring out so much for myself, I really look towards the older women in my life for guidance and to hear their life stories and experiences, and it was just so awesome to get to hear some of yours. You still can if you want to, my sister does midwifery and she has a lot of mature students undergrads or post-grad students in her course, when she started the degree at 18 she was actually the minority, the rest of the students were much older (we live in the UK). I'm a medical student and on my obstetrics placement I was with midwives and have so much appreciation for them, they're so knowledgeable and love their jobs

Haha I love these types of Q&A where we get to connect on a more personal level! I think one thing that I would like to change about myself would be to be less afraid of putting myself out there. Like the saying goes, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take" I think it is important to realize that failure isn't the end of the world. There is a lot of growth and development that occurs and these experiences help shape us into better and stronger human beings. I would like to win the voucher for petite cosmetics because there are so many different styles of lashes on there that I want to try out to see which best suits my eyes! Thanks for such a fun Q&A video Tina!

The one thing that I would like to change is being more confident about the things I love^^. When people make fun of my music taste like "You listen Kpop? They are gay. You don't know what they are talking about." or "You like anime? They are childish." They make me sad and so I don't have confidence 😟. So I end up hiding things I like that and not talking to people. But as the time pass I start thinking that my actions was wrong and I shouldn't be bothered. So yeah, I want to have that kind of confidence, be myself 😊😊. Thank you so much for your advices, love youu!!😊💕

She thinks that kpop is affecting my grades because I spend alot of my time in it. But i dont really care now because i know none of those are true. And i love kpop for a long time already.💕 so dont mind those people cause it is your life anyways. I hope that you can find a real friend who can appreciate and accept the things that you love.

One thing I would like to change about myself is my mindset going into certain situations. I tend to be more negative when I think about things that are somewhat uncertain and I know that the world doesn't need anymore negativity. Sometimes I think that being negative is my form of hoping for a better outcome in life and the things that happen to me or the world, almost like a coping mechanism to not keep my hopes up for the future. However, by working on my mindset and outlook on life, I think I can do better for myself and the people around me. I would love to use the voucher on Petite Cosmetics to purchase products that could help me express my positivity in a better way since I feel like I can't be open enough with my parents to tell them I want so much to be confident on the inside and outside. I love your videos Tina, and see how much you've grown on your channel and I hope to do the same for myself. Thank you for inspiring me to be the best I can be! Love you Tina! ❤️😊

If I don’t look good like Tina when I’m 30 I’m fighting myself 😭 One thing I’ll probably change about myself is changing my habit of having motivation too late in life LOL it’s like I always tell myself I will have time in the future to do more stuff that I’m scared or nervous to do but those opportunities would easily get taken away. I want to take some risks and go for it except they are the good risk not bad risk •3•

In the spirit of relationships, the one thing I'd like to change about myself is definitely being more independent and learning how to enjoy my alone time. I've been involved in a long distance relationship for a year and sometimes it's really easy to think like, why aren't we spending all our time together and stuff. I'm just learning about the importance of living my own life and being there to support my partner. Thank you so much, Tina. I really enjoyed this video a lot. Also, I've had my eye on your Petite Cosmetics falsies for a while so I'd probably spend my voucher on that.

Tina! First of all, I just wanted to say, you’re such a down to earth person, and I genuinely look up to you as my role model. Your videos honestly make my day! Your advice is so wholesome, you’ve taught me to handle bad situations in a mature way rather than holding grudges and making myself more unhappy. Something that I would like to change about myself is my communication skills about my emotions. I have a habit of giving people the silent treatment when I’m mad or sad rather than communicating with them. In my previous relationship, my ex said a lot of things to me when we fought; his horrible words deeply affected me. So now, I’m super closed off about my feelings and don’t like to talk about my emotions. This is something I would like to change about myself as it has gotten so close to ruining some of my relationships with people that I deeply value. Thank you for your video, and keep doing what you’re doing because you truly change lives! Love you ❤️❤️❤️

"What's no one thing you would change about yourself?" That would probably be my tendency to be a control freak. I have learned that in the past and have seen how it affected the closeness of my friendship with some of my high school friends. Being some sort of a big sister to them, back then, I thought I was just being protective over them, making them do what they should and be where they should to save them from having regrets and making mistakes they might not be able to fix. Now, I have come to learn this (the hard way): we are people, we can't be perfect. One way or another, we're bound to do something we wish we never did so we won't do it again. They are people too, they have their own thoughts and opinions. They, too, are their own kind of stubborn. P.s.: I could not have watched your video at a better time. I am actually in the process of overcoming my OCD and showing gratitude for the support of my high school friends who have been with me for 9 or 10 years strong (despite of having a control freak friend). 😍 I love watching videos like this. To see how open and honest you can be is amazing. Through this, I feel like we, your subscribers/ followers feel more connected to you. More girl talk videos and Tina sashimi, please. 😉 Also I would use the voucher on... Mark & Scribe. 😘

the fact that it's becoming more normal for women to talk about such personal things or i guess what people used to consider "taboo" like sex, health, insecurities, etc. makes me feel so happy. so many women have been scared to expose the things that we may not talk about often and these types of videos give us a level of comfort, like a type of relatability (like a big sister lol). i love it here! I love how open you are about everything. It really does remind me of sitting down just chatting with a friend about life. As for your question, I would like to be a more outgoing person. To be able to meet new people without feeling super awkward and putting up walls. I've wished this for several years and I'm definitely better than when I was a teenager but I'd love if I could become as comfortable with it as the people around me are. Something I would change about myself is my feelings regarding my health. I live with some disabilities and they affect my daily living. When people ask questions, I would love to share and be confident in the person I am now however I often find myself shying away from talking about the negative impacts living with disabilities has as I feel it makes me look “weak”. I am only 15 so my parents won’t let me join your giveaway but one thing that I would change about myself would be my eyesight. I’m already -5.5 in my left eye and -6.5 in my right eye. And my eyes are still getting progressively worse every year🥺 it is predicted that if my eyes stabilise at 18 my eyes will reach approx -9. This really affects my mental health because until last year when I turned 13 I couldn’t wear contacts to theme parks so one time they lost my glasses and I had a huge panic attack because I couldn’t see a thing. To the mean replies that I’m gonna get. It not me using my phone both my parents and all my grandparents have/had a prescription of at least -6 so it is not my fault. *edit* Omg! I did not expect to get this much support. I would just like to clarify that yes I am too young for LASIK surgery and I don’t plan on getting it anytime soon. I did get ortho k lenses from the ages of 10 to 11 1/2 but it didn’t quite give me 20/20 vision so my parents decided to stop it. I was also offered atropine eye drops just before I turned 13 but after my “interesting” 🙄 experience with the ortho k lenses and the potential side effects we decided not to go through with it. I occasionally (very rarely) wear soft contacts when I have to go places where glasses might get annoying. I have had glasses since I was 7 so I have leaned to just deal with it. 💖

I'm the same at 13 though girl. I'm 19 now with -4.0 and -5.0. My eyes stabilized when I'm around 15 and it's just going back and forth at -4.5. If eye sight really gets you, you can maybe consult with your optimologist with the option of LASIK. obviously you are still too young to have this surgery, but it is an option that you can look into.

Hi! Not that I think you will be getting mean comments but just wanted to clarify that myopia is believed to have a genetic component (hence why your family members also have it) but studies have shown that near work and less time outdoors also impacts on progression. I’m currently studying optometry and was wondering if your optometrist ever suggested orthokeratology or atropine eye drops (when you were younger) as an alternative to glasses/contact lenses?

I wore glasses for 19 years, from 6 to 25. I had -9 and -7 by the time i got laser. Don't let this affect you, find a frame you love and wear it with pride, that's what I did at least. If anyone ever made fun of me calling me four-eyes I would usually say "well, I might be four-eyed but I can see how ugly inside you are 4 times over". Be strong, you can do it!

Thank you for being so open, this was a lovely video to watch! It's comforting to see such a successful woman as you being vulnerable and honest on the internet - I think it does a lot of good for other young women who may have various personal struggles. I would love to change my mindset when I look in a mirror so that I focus more on what I like about myself than what I dislike. I would love a Mark & Scribe gift voucher, I love the products you've created!

“What’s one thing you would change about yourself?” I hope I can be a person who brushes negativity off easily. For example, I bottle up sad and angry thoughts because I want to prevent arguments; yet, it doesn't help at all if I keep remembering these bad moments. It is indeed a challenging thing to tackle, but it's something I need to get used to 😺 (I will appreciate any of the two vouchers)

The one thing I would change about myself is to look at life from a positive perspective, I've always only focused on what I didn't have, what I could have had to make me feel better about myself but now after realising the value of everything I already have, I want to view things from a positive and appreciative perspective.

Love love love this video!!!! When you said that confidence is something that you’re constantly working on and to turn every negative thought into a positive one was such good advice!! I think a lot of us can relate. And I’m so glad that you touched on not taking rejection from your partner about sex to heart. Being comfortable enough in a relationship to initiate sex but not getting offended when your partner doesn’t want to is a goal I hope we can all achieve! As for your question, I would change so many things but I think above all it would be my anxiety. Constantly second guessing every decision, every conversation and always thinking about how I could have been better etc is exhausting. It takes a toll on me but it also takes a toll on the people who love me. Oh and I would follow you anywhere, especially to Tina Tries it baby edition!!!

First thing I would tell is that you are a really huge inspiration for me.. I learned a lot from all the little things u said about ur life and everything.. that helped and is still helping me change.. The one thing I always wanted to change i that... it is never easy for me to accept my mistakes and I end up blaming it on others. And because of this reason I have lost many important people in my life. I am really trying my best to get rid of this behavior or habit of mine. And I think I am improving that part of mine. I have someone by my side who helps me to really point out the flaws and change that part of me. I want to learn to accept myself for who I am too. And also I want to learn to be myself cuz i have actually nvr known myself so like I tend to act different with everyone I meet and it confuses me thinking which one is exactly me.. Hopefully I do become a better person in future where I get to understand people from their point of view. And I would love it if I got a voucher for Mark & Scribe.

I love this so much. Such great advice, especially regarding relationships. I've been with my husband for 5 years and married a year. It's really refreshing to hear about your little ticks and tricks, it actually helped me a lot. I made my hubby watch some parts of this too! If I could change anything at the moment it would be motivation to take time for myself, mostly health and excerise. During this lockdown I've really given up on eating healthy and keeping fit. If I had a voucher I would definitely use it on Mark and Scribe! ❤❤

There's a couple of things i wanna change about my self: first in a more professional level, i want to stop procrastinating. I noticed I procrastinate a lot when I'm feeling insecure about my own performance, and I can be too perfeccionist with my own work, and i often fear about not reaching my own expectations. Another big thing for me, relationship wise, is that I cannot seem to find a perfect middle point between being too dependent and being disconnected with my boyfriend. Sometimes i feel like I need a lot of attention and I can become clingy, but as soon as I don't feel reciprocated, I will become distant and there's not in between. Would love to try petit cosmetics!

The one thing I would change about myself is regarding the way I “feel” emotions. Im very insecure of what I feel in a way that is hard to explain, ex. I get mad at someone but then I start thinking that my anger is just me overreacting and that i will make the other person think I am crazy, so I pretend I am not angry and completely make myself look calm; or maybe I like someone but then I doubt if I actually like them or if its just like me getting fascinated by the person. It is hard to understand I know. This has lead me to anxiety and overthinking habits. Anxiety for me is physical, when I “get/feel” anxiety my hands hurt and cramp up and my chest hurts, while overthinking causes me to become silent suddenly. What I would like to change is my confidence on my feelings and emotions, I want to be more confident with expressing feelings instead of suppressing them and also I want to learn new and better ways to deal with anxiety.

It felt like a comfortable space where opinions can be shared freely, also it was lovely to hear more about you and get to know your personality more since you’re one of my favourite youtubers to watch. But one thing I would change about myself would also be towards my inner personality. I would make myself much more acceptive of myself and my own opinions. The most important thing that I want to change about myself is being confident the way I am and the way I look cuz I constantly compare myself with others even if I don't want to but sometimes I can't stop thinking about that. Like I wish I was as tall as her or as skinny as her or was able to study and get as good grades as her or as pretty as she is ,etc. I am trying to change myself and accept myself as I am and trying to work hard if I want to achieve something like as I want to lose weight I am trying Chloe Ting's challenge,if I want to get good grades I have to study hard, etc. Thank u for inspiring and helping us to be more confident and believe in ourselves ❤️❤️. And as a student another problem is of course procrastinating.I really want to be able to manage time and focus more on my studies and work hard for the goals I want to achieve. Often times I procrastinate and am not able to utilize my time well😣 but can't and that's something I will definitely improve its a promise to myself.I am happy that I was able to share this with u Tina. Love ya😘😘!! I hope u read my response😊😊. If I get selected then I would like to get the 100$ voucher for Mark and Scribe😄.

One thing I would change about myself is my weight. I've had many weight problems over the year and I continuously tell myself to get motivated and lose all that weight and I try so hard every time to exercise frequently but something gets in the way. Usually its just me getting demotivated and stressed about school and exams. So I guess along with that I would change my work ethic and determination to be able to reach my goal of losing my weight! I recently tried the Chloe Ting workout schedule that you did and I'm really hoping to be able to stick to it. I would like to win the Mark & Scribe voucher!

It's brave also to come forth and state how negative comments affect you. Too many people think they can type whatever they want nowadays with no consequences. The one thing I would change about myself is being able to say these positive things about myself (like you showed in this video) and actually BELIEVE them. Hi Tina! I have been watching your videos for quite a while now. And I must say, this is the very first time that I have commented in all youtube videos that I have ever watched. I just recently turned 29 on the 2nd of August and just like everybody else of my age who are still single, I can't help but think and worry about having a lifetime patner and kids - family of my own. I have been in couple of relationships and all of which just failed despite of giving my all. There was a time when I was on the verge of accepting that perhaps this is my fate. But then seeing you and watching you share what you have gone through made me realize that I don't have to be sad just because most of the people of my age have already been or are getting married. God is just still busy preparing my own Alfred. This may have been just a simple Q&A video for you but for me it's really something so thank you and continue to inspire us.
