Shout out also to the late, great Babatunde Olatunji, among others, whose amazing songs I first heard when I was maybe 10 yrs old...& I've been a devoted fan ever since. 67+ years'-worth!!!😍 May they be blessed by the Creator of ALL life!!!

Tinariwen music is like huge and wise grandfather. You see them, listen such cold solid riffs and talk to yourself "Be a man, mate. You was born to overcome any troubles and enemies. Look at this men, they live in desert, fight with nature, peoples, politics all they lives like their ancestors and their ancestors. But real men have enough time to make blues, just because it's important. Life is weak. Just make deep breathe and go"

Don't link the amazigh to Marrakech, the cops there hate us, and underestimate us. You have to understand that there is historical enmity with the arabs because they don't let us be free. Our last resort is to flee the land and become citizens of another place in the world. Ask this to any amazigh that has common sense and he will tell you what i'm saying.
