I think the problem is these tourists attractions are not advertised to the local population...I hope it changes soon Africans need to be the ones enjoying their beautiful continent

veins of African blood Yeah, I think it’s already happening. I have seen a couple of campaigns from the Tanzanian government promoting domestic tourism and pretty much everything incl flight/boat fares is heavily discounted for residents. Thanks for watching ☺️

veins of African blood I also don’t understand why it is so expensive to go from an african country to another. I am senegalese living in France but I noticed the flight from Paris to Zanzibar is 500€ while it is 800€ from Dakar ( Senegal) to Zanzibar ! And finally senegalese people need visa to enter tanzania while most european people dont !!! Now that is the problem

@@oulimatadiakhoumpa1690 I agree with you but let's hope the new treaty signed about air travel for all African countries will reduce the cost!!

That hotel is very chic. Love the rustic simple vibe. By the way, isn't it great having short hair so you can swim and not have to worry about anything? lol

I am coming to Zanzibar in August. Where do we as black ppl go in order to experience our own ppl? Everyone is enjoying our beautiful beaches but us. In Africa, and especially ppl of the African diaspora.
@tinasarafinas49626 жыл бұрын
Allie The Conversation Starter You will love it! If you have the ability, try Pemba island right next to Zanzibar. It is less touristy and not as much as tourist friendly infrastructure but it allows you to immerse yourself more in to the local life and Pemba also has beautiful beaches

Tina😊 I wish I had known! I already bought ticket to Zanzibar's island! I just want a spot I can be in where I can connect to the ancestors and ppl.❤ I want to eat local and be on or near beach. I want to find or be able to speak with the elders. Is that possible?

Did you prefer this place to the other place you made a video of, Aya Beach Bungalows? Are the beaches similar at both places?
@tinasarafinas49623 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sorry for late reply. I preferred the beach at Aya Beach Bungalows and the place was very chill and more affordable. But Zanzibar Bandas was more luxurious and had really nice facilities and longer beach.

the thing is i have been watching your video without knowing that your origin from Tz, interested to know how to visit Sweden as Tanzanian but do not know where to start, can you do a video on how you move here it might reflect and applied in some aspect.
@tinasarafinas49626 жыл бұрын
atken mboya Thanks for watching! For a Tanzanian to visit Sweden takes quite a lot of work in order to get a visa. A lot of documents to provide showing bank statements, hotel receipt or invitation from someone in Sweden etc. Swedish embassy in dar has all details :)
@atkentravelafrica43616 жыл бұрын
TinaSarafina S Thanks for your replay, seems like pretty much to work on a visa, was it easy for you to get a visa as a swedish citizen entering Tz! Guess you purchase that on your arrival!! Was there any complication on the process!! Can you just do a video showing both direction for visa !! You might not need to be there or represent the authority in charge but just to show how it looks like!!

The fir7t time I went to Znz I went with a mainlander. And he refused to go to North or East coast cus he said that they put food color in the water and Photoshop it. 😂😂😂😂 The second time I went to Nungwi and forced that same person to come see. No food coloring and no Photoshop 😂😂 Maybe you can start a travel and tour company to get people to go to their own backyard 😉

A lot of these resorts are owned by Europeans, they advertise n European countries. If they are Tanzanian owned, they too want European clients.
