i might be in the minority here but i don't really think tinashe is an "acquired taste" (unless this is your first venture into non-mainstream/alternative r&b).. which is why it's so confusing as to why she's so underappreciated in the industry because i don't think her music is so experimental that it would be jarring for most people.. a lot of people just are sleeping on her because they don't care to go out of their way to listen to independent artists that aren't being pushed hard by big labels
