Urgh, I'm such a Philistine. You've made this utterly beautiful statuette, and everything about it is so pleasing and aesthetic, and yet I found myself thinking for a whole five minutes about how incredibly unpractical her clothing is. It is, though. The moment she takes flight those braids and that loin-thingy are around her ears. That said. Again. Absolutely beautiful. I especially love her serene face, and how she has those cute little feet instead of the giant bird claws I was expecting. Ver pretty!

these wings won't lift even a swan, maybe she flies on her hair))

It's only impractical if you assume this mystical being cares about exposing themselves, which is an inherently human problem Plus art isn't meant to be practical! It's meant to be art!! It CAN be practical, but it's by no means needed. Look at many an old statue; they weren't for practicality. They were for beauty.

Haha I wouldn't call you a philistine, but that kind of concepting is usually done for structured art, like those for games, animations or otherwise. Tina has no limits, and so she can be as impractical as she wants to be. If she had to use this character for a _purpose,_ it might be refitted though 😅😅

@@Son54niydon’t worry she is magic so she can fly however she wants it’s ok :-)

luckily i don’t think harpies care about how practical their outfits are, even traditional greco roman harpies were usually depicted as being bare-titted and while this harpy is more fashion forward she seems to be going for aesthetic over practicality :-) humans are rather singular in our fear of boobs and genitals, and in fact that fear is only cultural and many humans would find her outfit to be perfectly normal and practical! imagine the freedom of movement lol :-)
