If you don't know the void cube parity alg, simply make a Uw move and start again from the second layer on. The reason for void cube parity is that your center holes are not in the correct position and you need to turn 4 of them by 90 degrees. This means M (or M') is okay, too. Then you don't have to fix F2L but only 2 cross edges. Great situation for Roux solvers though.

the way you fix void parity is intuitive. It means your centers are wrong like an M move away. So do an M or M’ then solve the cube
@tidakadalah3 жыл бұрын
For the last part of the void cube I would put the one that is correct to my right and behind and do R U R’ U R U2 and then the corner that is right I put on my top right hand corner and do U R U’ L’ U R’ U’ L then do again until all corners are in the right place then I would do R’ D’ R D and continue until the yellow piece is flipped correctly and in place then do a U’ then do again and again. This is the beginner method. Not the most effective but it still works.

FYI if you solved the void cube with roux and you got parity just do an M' and you will still be on the last step instead of restarting if you used cfop

I've try your challenge (with different scramble and potential different model of the cubes though) , here's my results : Void cube : 53 seconds left on the timer (because no parity, otherwise, i've would'nt abble to do it to, i've forgot the parity algorithm) Axis cube : 4:19 left Windmill cube : 2:28 left Mastermorphix : 3:52 left The mastermorphix is the only one i've used recently, have'nt touch the others for years. I think for this kind of puzzles, the fact that i'm not a speed cuber (i only want to know how to do all of my cubes) have help me here. I don't use cfop (i only know how to do basics F2L, i don't know OLL and PLL), i've used the begininer method, because of that, i've spend less time being confused where my pieces were on the cube, because i've just placed them one by one. I really think, using the beginer method is the best for the shape mods when you're not used to them. It was a fun challenge to try ! :) Now... i really should start to learn the Square-1...
