As a chinese person myself, ive been doing chinese calligraphy and painting since i was around 3, i absolutely love the choice of brush that she uses. But one thing i would recommend is to use rice paper... Using rice paper easily enhances the brush strokes since it soaks the ink and creates a beautiful texture that normal paper wouldn't be able to. But i wouldn't blame her if she didnt have rice paper, since it can be a fuss to make, but i think its pretty easy to find in local Chinese stores, but since i physically make mine, i don't really know where to get them... But all in all shes doing an amazing job, her handwriting is amazing. geez thats a lot

Although I can't write nothing with calligraphy style, I use many brushes with my watercolours while I am painting. @@fialka39 it is now. Thankfully my floors are all tiles, so i just had to sweep out the water. The few mats i had on the floor had to be put to dry outside, all my electricals are working fine. The one scare was the fridge, i unplugged it, wiped it out in the back, used my blow dryer on cold to dry up whatever water was in the electrical and left it for a few hours. It came back on. My couches had to be taken outside in the sun to be dried off. It was a lot of work, but it's better now. The water pressure came so hard early this morning that it burst the pipe in the bathroom, which flooded the place, i was sleeping very unaware until i had to go pee, and sleepy stepped out of my bed to step into ankle deep water 😭😭😭😭

Interesting that the characters for good luck was generally but upside down on doors. In my culture, people used to put horse shoes on doors for luck. However, there was some disagreements as to if it should be hung like U or upside down. Some people say that the U shape is like a seat for the devil to sit in but others say that if it’s upside down the luck will pour out and won’t stay.
