Hearing non-English natives speaking English is just so captivating. Or even people who have learnt another language speaking it, like hearing a Korean ASMR channel speaking Japanese or even Chinese in some of their videos, there’s something so genuinely beautiful about it all. Even though Tingting is perfectly fluent in English (let’s be honest), I just love how different some of her English words sound to my ears. I find the difference in tone and pronunciation just stunning, and I have such a fascination to hearing the words I’m so used to being said ever-so slightly differently. Honestly, it’s the best. 🥰 Plus, I’m so jealous of how you’ve learnt another language and how well you speak it.

@@lychenthrope Upon further reading, it’s mica to which some people are allergic, which is the white powder added to eyeshadows, candles & fancy soaps to make them shimmery. I’m doubtful much mica is used in cheap glitter, as it’s mined by hand using child labor in African countries, making it inefficient as well as falling out of favor with consumers, but apparently it Can be applied to the PET plastic & aluminum or other reflective metal in glitter to add shimmer or hold colorants. Wasn’t expecting to do a deep dive into this topic based off a Valentine’s video, but I enjoyed learning something new, thanks to both of you.

I ate a really good French Dip sandwich using deli roast beef, provolone cheese, and hoagie buns! To make the dip I used French onion soup, beef consommé and beef stock, these ingredients all mixed together create a succulent and juicy flavor! I hope you all get to eat a really good sandwich as well!
