thank you very much for this video! I'm at newbie in TCG and Tinkaton is one of my faves of 9th gen, so your video helped me build a fun deck with my fave 🙂 What do you think of the Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking and Dudunsparce combo? I've found it to be super powerful to turn matches around. Another change I made was to replace one Nemona with one Nemona's Backpack. I'd love your feedback on that! 😀

i havent seen anyone else run the arven package, love your build

Arven fixes so many problems with the deck. Little bit of experimentation goes such a long way!

Great video! I would add a manaphy so you don’t get wiped by kyurem and change the dunsparces to 70 hp so you don’t get cooked by dragapult or regidrago
@asmophet5 ай бұрын
I actually tried the 70hp Dunsparces but they create a small issue of getting locked by Boss' Orders if the opponent can control your hand. I'd opt for the Manaphy but I think Jirachi is better at my particular locals because there aren't any Regidraco/Dragapult

Thank you so much for this! Tinkaton is my absolute favorite Pokémon from generation 9 (next to screaming tail). I just got into playing competitive Pokemon and was looking for a deck featuring Tinkaton. I love your explanation!

@@robingomez2628 I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll probably be updating the list in the next month as well as uploading a Gardevoir profile too.

I had the same issue of being Dragapult'd away so I ended up having two 70hp and two 60hp Duns in my deck to still have the free retreat option.

Finally an up-to-date Tinkaton ex deck.😌 It's my favorite Gen 9 pokemon and i wanted to build a good deck for it but all the other videos on deck builds are like 8+ months old.🙄 Also, quick question: Do you think with all the new terastalized pokemon cards coming up, we will get a steel Tinkaton? (I mean we have to, no?) If yes, do you think it would fit into this deck or will we rather get a chance to build a steel deck?
@asmophet3 ай бұрын
With how they've handled Tinkaton so far, I imagine if they give us a Terastalized Tinky she'll likely be a new boss monster you can build around similar to Big Hammer Tinkaton! I could see some lists running 2 Tinkaton ex, 1 Tinkaton Tera, and 1 Tinkaton (Gather Materials) to round out 4 evos if she's plashable. Also wouldn't be surprised if they made Tera Tinkaton focus on Tera cards, like doing damage per every benched Tera you have.

Its greedy but I remember also running Gholdengo ex just for more card draw power and in case I'm not able to set Tinkaton up.

I really don't get why nobody is playing this. Love my tinkaton deck so much

If you're gonna run Nemona, you absolutely need to play Nemona's Backpack. Get 2 Nemonas from your Discard to your hand!

Wow that looks great! I love tinkaton, it's my first serious deck :) I have a question tho. How do you feel about the new collection (Stellar Crown)? Are there any viable options in there or nah?
@asmophet4 ай бұрын
- Dachsbun ex has some utility for HP upkeep and control! - Grand Tree has incredible applications for evolving straight to Tinkaton, but might fall flat for consistency where Hyper Aroma shines. - Lacey has applications for late game hand fixing (for example, getting Iono'd). I hope this helped! Most of the cards are personal preference and may help versus certain strategies, so just keep in mind what you may be playing against.

any ideas on how to substitute the double energy if it is not reprinted by the time it rotates out? would running crispin and a second type (metal?) of energy work? tinkaton is something i've been meaning to try but i might have joined the trend too late.
@asmophetАй бұрын
Without double energy it's incredibly rough. I'll have to do some testing, but first thoughts would be to find an engine that moves multiple energy, similar to Gardevoir ex.
@rainauwashereАй бұрын
@@asmophet ooh, gardevoir ex didn't even cross my mind but it does seem like the better choice, even if at the expense of some dudunsparce lines. i've seen people use enriching energy for their ace spec and attach it to the dudunsparce, so that it gets reshuffled along with it. that could honestly make up for the fewer lines of dudunsparce if a whole ralts-kirlia-gardevoir line is included. but thanks for the reply!! eager to see what results your testing brings.

why Jacq and the hyper instead of Arezu? Only for the play with Arven?
@asmophet4 ай бұрын
Arezu must search Pokemon without a "rule box," so you can't search Tinkaton ex with it! Jacq has more utility since it can search Tinkaton ex and the Dudunsparces. Hyper Aroma & Evo Disc serve as turn 1 and turn 2 1-card combos through Arven so you can get your board set up early!

@@asmophet ohhhhhh now i got, i started testing 1 less great ball (since it does come up but not enough to justify 2) and 1 fan rotom to help putting the dunsparce on turn 1, so far doing some great results, loving the deck and the big damage but man Ione and Xerosic's Machinations are a big annoyance

@asmophet20 күн бұрын
It's certainly a good option and worth experimenting with! I personally like the Aroma more because it allows you to potentially draw 9 cards in one turn.
