Nice! I love how pioneering Wizkids is being in the industry these days. Did you catch the Dirt Cheap Dungeons castle sets kickstarter?
@RickKoeppen4 жыл бұрын
I did promote it when it went live, but didn't back it myself. It looks amazing and I love their stuff. I'm just trying to cut down on Kickstarters, but I'll definitely look back into it when it hits their webstore!
@arthurmelander62243 жыл бұрын
Pioneering? No way. The 3-D printing world has been doing this for 9 years or more. I have designed my own tiles and I have tiles for free with interlocking features on Thingiverse for the last 5 years and I was no pioneer and my tiles look better than Wizkids. Stop! Wizkids isn't anything new and is obviously actually behind the times. This isn't revolutionary in any way. Way behind where the 3-D world has been for over a decade.

How would u go about covering up the sites with some of the pieces sticking up so your players don’t see the next room???
@RickKoeppen4 жыл бұрын
Typically, if a piece of poster board won't balance on top, I'll remove the whole building and only bring it in when the players want to enter.
@kenny14924 жыл бұрын
I've seen some people use different sized pieces of black cloth. Makes it easy to lay over top of a building and fold it back as the rooms are entered. I'll attempt that technique next time I play.

Great video (actually great set of videos) ! May I ask which gaming mats you've used for the village setting (both the counry/crossroads one and the paved one)?
@RickKoeppen4 жыл бұрын
The big mat is a 'grassy plains' mat I picked up from Frontline Gaming, one of their 'F.A.T. Mats'. I'm not sure if they still offer those or if their mats are now under a different heading, it was years ago! The smaller mat is a double sided mat from Deep Cut Studios. They do both single sided and doubled sided in a variety of sizes. I did cobblestone on one side and grass on the other.
