Grandmother Esmerelda sure got that right. Onyx is a black gemstone, perfect for the man that, almost exclusively, dresses in black. Fantabulous video, Justin!!! Enjoyed this immensely.

Seeing Bob Ross was such a free-spirited and loved all sorts of art he would have loved a place like this with so much creativity coming out of every nook and cranny in the place. All that creativity out of one person is flat out amazing. You may not think you're as creative but you are. You search out places like this to showcase here for everyone to see on your channel. Then it inspires others to go and visit and explore those exact places which keep them alive and thriving. As you can tell I love Bob Ross's work and I think he would like the work you do bring places like this to the forefront and be noticed. Keep it up good sir!

Thanks for visiting my neck of the woods here in the Ooooold West! Very near Tinkertown is a picnic area and you can drive up to the Sandia Crest Summit at over 10,000 ft. altitude. There are some other pretty cool places along the North 14 - Turquoise Trail. Have you been to Meow Wolf yet? There is Madrid which was the Wild Hogs set and Cerrillos where Young Guns was filmed and El Rancho de las Golondrinas which is a living history museum (which is very cool). Don't forget the singing highway (which some other video-guy totally missed). Hmm, maybe I need to start my own videos.

I'm such a sucker for a good diorama!!! We used to build them out of shoe boxes and plastic wrap and enter them at the LA county fair! This place is beautiful! I gotta go hug my Mom today for teaching me to love all things miniature! She's a fellow tinker and has made things and painted things her whole life!

"There are not enough exclamations and adjectives in the English language. . ." I felt exactly the same way during our visit, and I coped by constantly punching my poor husband's arm as we encountered delight after overwhelming delight. Last July, we saw HUGE colonies of hummingbirds and hummingbird hawk moths around the parking lot area. The whole experience was mind-blowing, inspiring, touching, and fun, fun, fun.

You know if you think about it, artisans like Mr. Ward that settle along Route 66 and use their creativity to keep the Mother Road alive are sort of like KZbinrs. They work hard to make people happy, they have unconventional jobs that some people may not understand, and some are only known to a select few. Different kind of highway, same spirit.

This place is amazing. I didn't know this existed! What a bargain for this. Seems like there's something in every nook and cranny. May not be your cup of tea, but might be worth a stop for you one day, Goldfield, Nevada has some car art and it also has some interesting car art like Cadillac Ranch, called International Car Forest of the Last Church. It's like no church I've ever seen. Plus you might want to check out the Clown Motel before it closes down in Tonopah. (thats the rumor I've heard)

Wow! What an incredible place! If you ever come to New England, definitely check out the Shelburne Museum. They have a hand-carved miniature circus and a hand carved miniature circus parade that are very reminiscent of the models at Tinkertown. They have a collection of tiny dioramas that were made in the 1800s too. :-)
