TINNING NEW COPPER SOLDERING TIP

Hi, I wanted to ask you if the rest of the copper oxidizes? Instead of tin, you should try making a spiral around the tip with silver wire and heating it with a small torch. Thanks for your interesting video.

help, i just bought these copper soldering tips, the same as you got but when i used them it just changed color and burned out, like it just darkened and won't attach any solder im a bit confused and frustrated with these cheap stuff from china

I thought at first that I might have been conned, but they are sold copper, what quality of copper is another thing.

Just use rubbing alcohol to remove oil from skin first. He did mention that in writing as well. Easy to find fault ain't it?
