Main Azaad Hoon is a landmark pic of Amitabh Bachchan, and we are happy with that. Do you know how many (so-called) beautiful, as well as, popular songs were copied from western songs by bappi lahiri since deceased? Sadly, that doesn't seem to reduce craze of bappi yet. Similarly, we Bachchan fans are happy to see him on silver screen and obviously we bother least about what copies what. Okay? So, now stop your unnecessary vomiting of knowledge of copying. Main Azaad Hun was ahead of its times and exposed corrupt nature of media. Amitabh had guts to do such a film. Amitabh is and was the greatest actor superstar India ever produced. Amitabh also relaunched AB Corp and his ideas were ahead of its times. He was first to do world tours and concerts and popularised Indian artistes abroad.

I was and die hard Mithun fan and didn't knew Amitabh Bachchan at that time. In Ahmedabad there is drive in theatre which starts at 7pm and I saw posters of shahenshah at 9am morning. we were playing cricket at 9am at drive in parking area and saw people standing for tickets at 9am for movie that will start at 7pm. As a kid at that time I said fools they should watch Mithun movie but in the evening when we came back it was housefull. We jumped the compound wall and watched movie.

Frankly speaking Directors and actors of that era and even before that shut the doors for many talented actors. They did not think out of the box. Similarly famous music directors not gave chance to new singers.If you only stick to one famous Artist than actually you feel insecure and you believe in actor's fan following more than yourself and your content.The best example of thinking out of the box is "Gangs of wassepur" how Anurag think that role fits for Nawaz when he was doing literally nothing.....! Now a days I believe everyone is getting opportunity if he/she is talented .
