Tinted Epoxy Serving Tray

Welcome back to the shop. During this video I make some Epoxy Serving Trays. This was a really fun build and learned a lot. I was also able to take a quick field trip to a friend’s shop, and you might know the shop, yes Caleb Harris’ YouCanMakeThisToo. Caleb was kind enough to take a break on his project to help me run the epoxy serving trays through his planer because it has a helix cutting head. Amazing how having the right tool for the job, makes the job easier. I used Caleb’s video on how to calculate the volume of epoxy to use.

What kind of metallic pigment did you use? I love the red one.

MrBoabreeder the red was EcoPoxy pigment that I picked up at my local woodworking store. The blue was Black Diamond pigment from Total oat and the pink was from an Amazon pigment sample pack. Thank you. We also like the red.

Hello again. Made two of your trays and wanted to ask one more question. What router bit did you use on yours. I was going to use a 1/4” round over but I like the angled look better. Thank again. Tony.

Which of the total boat epoxy did you use. I went to there website and there several different types.
