It's not Tinubu that made Buhari President. You said what Tinubu said that he made Buhari President is the fact. It's not the fact. Tinubu is wrong. 1. Buhari had 12 million votes from the North. 2. The real reason Buhari won Jonathan in 2015 is because Jonathan was unable to make peace with Rotimi Amaechi who took 5 sitting Governors from PDP to APC. Had those Governors not left PDP nothing on earth would have made Buhari won Jonathan. They left with all their National Assembly and State Assembly members. 3. In the merger that Tinubu is claiming that he singlehandedly made Buhari President, Ogbonnaya Onu came with ANPP and all their structures across the nation, Buhari came with CPC and all their structures with 12 million votes. Okorocha came with APGA structures in Imo State, Tinubu came with ACN and their structures while the NPDP led by Rotimi Amaechi came with 5 sitting Governors and all their structures including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Bukola Saraki. 4. In 2015 election, Buhari scored 15 million + while Jonathan scored 14 million +. 5. All the votes from 6 South West States where Tinubu's structure is very strong delivered 2 million + votes. In that 2 million + Tinubu's Lagos State delivered 400, 000+ votes. 6. Only Kwankwaso of Kano State who is among the 5 Governors that left PDP with Rotimi Amaechi delivered 1.9 million + votes. So, calculate and tell me how Tinubu made Buhari President. Even though Tinubu might have initiated the merger, but during the primaries he never stood firm to support Buhari to emerge as the flag bearer of APC then. He was romancing and having deals with Atiku Abubakar. Kwankwaso contested against Buhari, Okorocha contested against Buhari and Atiku. 7. According to the pattern of votes by APC delegates in 2015 sighted from a reliable source, Tinubu's men shared their votes between Atiku and Buhari. 8. It was Rotimi Amaechi who delivered bulk votes to Buhari in primaries. South South votes and other Governors like Wamako, of Sokoto Abdulfatai of Kwara etc. 9. If Buhari didn't win that primaries how would have he contested in the main election to emerge President? Therefore, it wasn't Tinubu that made Buhari President. It was coalition of forces.

I have also heard Rotimi Amaechi said that the reason they went and brought Buhari was because of his disposition against corruption. As at the time they formed APC there wasn't any clear agreement as to who will be used as the candidate to run against Jonathan otherwise, Atiku, Kwankwaso and Okorocha wouldn't have contested. They all wanted to be President but fortunately for Buhari he won the Primaries. So, i can't understand what Tinubu is claiming. It's because Buhari doesn't talk that's why Tinubu is claiming this all these years. In fact it's the reason that forced people like Kawu Baraje, Kwankwaso, Saraki, Atiku and many other NPDP members out of APC. Rotimi Amaechi would have left since if he wasn't a Minister in that administration. Because Buhari was thinking that these guys from PDP faction are corrupt and didn't start on time to protect them, little did he know that 'Emilokan' and his group are the real thieves who wanted to grab power by all means. Minus 2 million votes of Yoruba land where Tinubu controls from 15 million + it will remain 13 million votes. Minus Buhari's constant 12 million votes from 13 million votes it will remain 1 million votes. And that 1 million votes are votes from South East, South South and parts of North Central combined which Buhari never had before. Therefore, it's wrong for Tinubu to say he made Buhari President. That is the argument. It's not about whether Tinubu's alliance made impact in Buhari becoming President; of course it did. But that he solely made him President is not true. Going by this analysis that's why i said it's a coalition of forces and combined efforts that made Buhari President and not Tinubu. Importantly, if we want to be critical of the analysis, i will say Buhari made himself President because he brought his constant 12 million votes which no other person brought even half of it.

Tinubu helped Buhari to win both the primary and general election. But buhari's pple hijacked his government. They sidelined Tinubu and his caucus. Tinubu never had any say in Buhari's government, his advices weren't taken, he openly advised them during his usual colloquium about the economy, history in the institutions and etc. Buhari is known to always trust his people. The present naira n fuel scarcity is a big sabotage in the government which a reasonable person must know. Emefiele misled Buhari concerning the naira, am sure buhari will act on it after his meeting with the progressive governors. Tinubu is also not satisfied with the way buhari handled the economy but the fact is that he cannot destroy what he and his faithful followers built. Blaming tinubu for the failures in this administration is unfair. One can only blame him for helping buhari to come to power. This government hasn't been total failure though, there are many gains made but just little failures in term of crisis management. The crisis management brought the hardship.

Tinubu is still the only candidate that will get %25 votes from 25 States including FCT. Atiku and Kwankwaso will get the required in North but will not get %25 in the south. Obi will get %25 from south and some part of northern states. It will be tight but Tinubu will be victorious by God's grace and Nigeria will be great again.
