Just to butress your point, I live in Dubai and when we heard this news we refused to celebrate until we hear from UAE authorities because of this Governments propensity for falsehood. People have several vital reasons to travel out, even from developed countries. Yes, we have bad leadership, but some persons are business, tourist or visit travellers and other non immigrant categories. Some are sent on transfer, internalisation or expatriation by their companies. The visa ban has ruined things for a lot of genuine travellers for years and the lifting is news worthy. Besides, the more visa bans a country gets, the less easy it gets for her citizens to travel as Embassies keep track of diplomatic relationships worldwide.
