Let us get this fact right. Irrespective of funding from oil revenue, Lagos State and southwest states are in good position to fund their projects. Many things we see today in southwest were built in the days of the western region. The Lagos port is a good example. And there are many others. Even outside Nigeria, like the Nigerian house in London.The Western region was even giving loans to the federal govt. Please go check records from those days. The internal revenue generated in Lagos is quite significant. The economy of Lagos is bigger than 49 African countries. That's it has the 5th largest economy in Africa. Because federal govt money goes to Lagos doesn't change the fact that Lagos is a yoruba state. It's non-indigenes that should not be "mis-jiving" saying Lagos State is no man's land.
