These bill is going to expose so many states that are unproductive state. We all Know the region with the lowest internal generated revenue. Why does the north always shout when some certain decisions does not favor their unproductive states, same thing happened during CBN transfer of staffs to other regions, is transfer of staffs a problem, if you don't want to be transferred resign, they cannot because if they're asked to write exams to get employed to CBN large number of them would not pass the entrance exams. But the Payee is increasing to 25% from 22%. I don't understand in a country where no free health or education will payee be 22percent. Including bad roads, poor or no social welfare so ridiculous. No one should pay tax for anything although.

Tinubu should keep the reform to himself and his cohorts.

What a direct or open show of ignorance by the senator. You've not gone through the bill ,you don't know the content & it's benefits. How can this quality of people represent the northerners.

What is the definition of Value Added Tax? What value is a buyer adding to a fixed asset? Capital allowance is granted for any asset used to produce income. So the business does not suffer any loss at all. However, IMF and World Bank may suggest this tax reform to satisfy Foreign Investors. The government will lose a lot of revenue because government only refund the difference between Input and Output VAT. Even if this is done in UK or elsewhere, Nigeria lacks the system to check on or monitor fixed assets purchased, returned, sold or destroyed.

What Ndume is saying, make sense. People are willing to pay tax, if the government spend prudently. You cannot be paying lips service to economic development, while policies are made not based on statistics, but on the will and Caprice of the man in the center.

If you are saying the government meed to appoint people that knows Nigerians, it clearly says you are not ready for development.. Na why una remain poor for north. Dancing to the tune of the citizen instead of pushing them to do well.

Ndume is it democracy you are practicing. The truth is that any reform that does not favour the lazy North will never see the light of the day.Ndume as a Northerner is happy impossing Sharia law on Nigerians in the Federal House of Representatives.Ndume likes that.Chineke kpokwa ha oku.
