I’ve been rescuing and adopting Chi’s - as well as Pugs and a couple of Yorkies- for the last 25 years. I have a grumpy old man who’s 14 years old and is the same way as this guy. I love all my furry kids, but Chihuahuas are my kryptonite!

I have two fifteen year old rescues that I adopted as youngsters. One is a grumpy boy who a comical. He cusses & grumbles, but he loves the youngest one. When the "baby" chases the old man & pulls his tail, my senior actually plays with him!!! The grumbling is all hot air. Just for show. 😆

Their growl is usually worse than their bite! He’s like a grumpy little old man! So funny! And so adorable! My first looked like the little brown one, that was almost forty years ago & my second is just two years old. He don’t mind people petting him as long as I hold him or my Husband holds him but he prefers me. He loves our adult son & likes him to hold him. He doesn’t grumble, yet, but sure loves to bark! 😂😂💕💕

I got a one-eye old chihuahua coot that pretends she’s going to murder me as I kiss her fat belly, but when I pull away, she barks in protest for me to do it again. Albeit, given the chance, she would definitely bite my face (specifically: lips, nose and ears).
